girls, what's the best compliment you've gotten? (serious) (reps)
What's the best and most original compliment you've gotten from a guy? What did he say? Was it about your eyes or some other bodypart? Did you melt? I will rep whoever gives good answers.

A kid in my English class in undergrad told me once, "I liked your name so much I used it in a poem."
Loved it. I'm now 37. This happened when I was about 19, so you see that I remember it.

Larisa is a pretty name. As far as Russian names go, I prefer Galena but that is just me

I asked a friend once if he thought my shoulders were too narrow. He responded with, "No, you're absolutely perfect." Every time I ask him about something physical that I want to change, he says something like that. I think it's sweet, even though it's far from constructive criticism.
And then at work a few weeks ago, there was an elderly man that came in, and as he was leaving, he said to me (pretend my name is X), "X, how are you so beautiful? I will go ask your mother! God loves you!"
That made my day.
My former ballet teacher thinks I look very muchly like a Russian ballerina. My name probably helps with that too, but I'd definitely consider it a compliment, it made me very happy. I guess it depends on if you find the ballet face pretty or not. She's a girl though.
Man, I feel like I'm bragging

My overall best compliment was from a random guy that came up to me while I was working out. He was in the best shape, and I was in the squat rack doing my normal leg routine. He said "damn, girl you squat better than half the pretty boys in the gym!" I was sooo happy, since it took me a loooong time to get my from down. I loved it....now I look forward to showing off some skizzils 4 the boys!!!

Dood I complimented a girl about her eyes, and man her face got redder than a thermomitor. It was awesooooome. Hair, eh, tried hair, not a winner. But you should compliment the thing that dont usually get complimented to make her feel good in everyway.

The best compliments I ever got....
'Wow, you actually are smart!"
or
"You're much nicer than you look."
or
"I'm glad to have you as a friend."
or
"You're actually pretty cool for a chick."

Last year me and my daughter were at Circuit City shopping. She went over to this young helper to ask him a question. When they were done talking he asked her "would you please tell your g/f (which was me) that she has most beautiful face and I love her hair...she's gorgeous!" My daughter was like "ummmm that's my mom...but yeah I'll tell her."

it was the total package. chuck stevens (chuckstevens.com) wants to make me immortal on his website and in his books and other artwork as a fetish model.
i'm 51 years old, btw, and the models he uses are half my age.

Wow, those aren't what I would call compliments lol.
You actually are smart = I thought you were dumb
You're much nicer than you look = you look like a bit*h
You're actually pretty cool for a chick = I'm sexist
The friend one is a decent compliment at least.

Alexandra. The name isn't Russian itself, I think people just associate it with Czar Nicholas II's wife.

Every now and then I get the following offensive remark that is somehow intended to be a compliment:
"You're middle-eastern? No way, you're hot!"
One girl even once told me, "Don't worry, you don't look it." LOL.

The best and most original compliment I've ever had from a guy was that I am everything he's ever wanted but didn't know existed and that I am his soulmate and yes I melted...and still do. He's the only person that has known everything there is to know about me and loves me anyway.

Apart from the fact that i'm very self-conscious about my appearance, I'm even more insecure about my intelligence and personality. When a guy tells me my intelligence is a turn on I'm over the moon!

I have been told I have a beautiful smile a few times! I was stopped by a gorgeouse guy once in the street and he said I had the most amazing lips I was so shy (it was prob the lip gloss) but it was a nice compliment
