Ex-boyfriends stuff (Serious?)

I kicked my ex out of my house and we ended it on good terms. I gave him a month to get all of his clothes or I am going to donate them. Do you think this is a fair amount of time? Some of my guy friends said this is too short but I think otherwise...wanted to ask people who dont know us personally.

WTF? How much crap does he have? 1 month seems like more than enough time for him to find a new crib and get his **** out of your place.

Yeah 1 month is more than enough time. You could always speed up the process by packing his **** for him and then he has no excuse other than to pick his stuff up.

a month is plenty. unless he has some serious problems getting a new place. if it comes to that, then why not just store them in a cupboard at your place? its not going to affect your daily life that way.

unless he's rocking up every five minutes to get changed...

hell put some in a box then put it outside (only for the pic). take a photo with ur fone and send it to him n say "first box is outside hurry before someone takes it."

^ I would have just burned his **** if we ended badly. Im trying to be nice about this...im glad u all agree that its enough time, i was feeling a little crazy. he called and said he would get it in 2 weeks but im sure he is going to keep pushing it back longer. oh well, in 29 days it will be @ goodwill. im almost pos. it will end up there lol.

I agree with every other replier in this thread that says an entire month is more than fair. Sucks for him to lose such a generous gf.

A month is more than enough time. Almost too much time. A friendly break up, imo, is harder than a disgruntled one.

Tell him to leave as soon as possible, just so you both can move on. Sometimes it's better to rip the band-aid off. It hurts, but the sting is gone sooner than when you are being all gentle about it.
