any unusual exercises to work ur chest?

ive tried every exercise i can find thats supposed to work out ur chest ive tried differnet amount of reps with different amount of weight. ive tried little weight with alot of reps and alot of weight with little reps. but nothing seems to work. i gain very little muscle and lose a little bit of fat after about ever 3-6 months.im not fat so no one will think thats the reason. i have chest muscles but a little bit of fat i cant get rid of.

so my question is basically if anyone has any workout routines for working the chest out(that has worked for them). i know its different for different people but im willin to give anything a try.

Then your not Training Right, If you cannot Gain Size/Strength from Heavy Bench Work and Dips then your never going to get big with any other Exercise. Are you eating Enough? Are you Sleeping Enough? Are you Overtraining? Are you training with enough Intensity? You give us very little to go on and we need more info to help you.

    Exactly.

If it works for everyone else then why isn't working for you?

I have seen those people though. At my gym there are some people lifting **** load of weight on bench press with great forms, rep/set ranges and controled motion. They have big shoulders but not much development on chest. I never seen them doing any flies or cables though. All they were doing was press movements, and mainly on flat bench.(both barbell and dumbell)

i don't agree, you can get plenty of size from flys of various inclination. try some incline and decline work or pec deck machines for some size also.

Flies at best are a finishing movement, They are not a Bulking/Mass Producing Exercise. How many Pro Bodybuilders/Powerlifters do you see doing Flies and not any Bench Work? Flies are more or less a Movement used by Advanced Bodybuilders. As for a Beginner they should focus solely on Building a Foundation, You don't build a house without a Foundation do you? If you cannot build any Mass/Strength from Properly performed Heavy Bench Work and Dips. Then you will never gain anything from Flies. That's a fact bro. How many Powerlifters do you see doing Flies?

sometimes i like to get some push up stands used with feet elavated.

if you concentrate on using your chest you can really nail it using this technique

-of course id never say this would replace the bench but is nice for a change

    the specialist also insists on exotic exercises to help bring up his 'weak parts';
where bench press and flyes might be sufficient, the specialist will typically require cable crossovers, decline smith machine presses, and some kind of exercise combining adjustable dumbells with an exercise ball.

a picture of the specialist usually shows a skinny teenager who needs to gain musculature in all body parts...but the specialist doesnt see it that way and only needs help for that lagging 'inner upper chest'!

flies at best are insects but flys on the other hand are a very useful mass building movement as well as pull overs cross over and several other and since he is not getting results from pressing movements alone would serve him well.

try weighted dips. it hits the lower pec ut i see my chest grow when i threw these into my routine

    my routine now is

    incline DB press 4x8-12
    barbell bench 4x8-12
    weighted dips 3x10
    incline flyes 4x12-15
