    Lightbulb Can Masturbation increase muscle growth

    I know this may sound silly or gross, But has there ever been any tests on Masturbating after exercise in comparison to a spike in Testosterone levels. I know after lifting both your GH and natural Testosterone levels are depleted. Would Masturbating immediately after exercise jump start the recovery process.

    Has anyone ever conducted tests on this this subject whether it be immediately following weight training or 1 hour 2 etc.

    I am pretty sure doing so before hand is not a good idea.

    I have always been curious , If it does work it would be the cheapest Pro hormone ever.
    5'10 " 225 cut and 240 in winter..I am trying to transform in to a medium sized guy.
    arms are a 20"
    quads are 28"
    calves are 18"
    chest 52"
    waist is 33"-35"

    meal 1 = protein shake with H20 @7 am
    meal 2 =cottage cheese and pineapple @11 am
    meal 3 =6 oz. of lean meat & 1/2 cup of brown rice@2pm
    meal 4 = protein shake with water(post workout)@5pm
    meal 5 = scrambled eggs and brown rice @9pm

    actually, quite the contrary, i believe most studies suggest that it INCREASES test levels, but insufficient to provide "hulk" growth or aggression.

    This current study examined the effect of a 3-week period of sexual abstinence on the neuroendocrine response to masturbation-induced orgasm. Hormonal and cardiovascular parameters were examined in ten healthy adult men during sexual arousal and masturbation-induced orgasm. Blood was drawn continuously and cardiovascular parameters were constantly monitored. This procedure was conducted for each participant twice, both before and after a 3-week period of sexual abstinence. Plasma was subsequently analysed for concentrations of adrenaline, noradrenaline, cortisol, prolactin, luteinizing hormone and testosterone concentrations. Orgasm increased blood pressure, heart rate, plasma catecholamines and prolactin. These effects were observed both before and after sexual abstinence. In contrast, although plasma testosterone was unaltered by orgasm, higher testosterone concentrations were observed following the period of abstinence. These data demonstrate that acute abstinence does not change the neuroendocrine response to orgasm but does produce elevated levels of testosterone in males.

    that study talks about a 3 weeks with out coming...Most guys masturbate at least once a day..with that being said , When would be the most beneficial time of day to possibly get an edge on the Body's Muscular recovery mechanism.

    i know its done over 3 weeks... and while jackin increases test for a short period of time if you dont jack at all your gonna have a much higher test level was my point :P so you would have increased muscle growth by not jacking at all... which for all purposes of the thread means masturbation doesnt increase muscle growth seeing as how your tryin to grow muscles of a period of years and years not an hour after jacking

    There was a study done a while back showing that for each day of abstinence there was a small increase in test, but small enough to not be noticeable. After the 7th day though there was a gigantic test spike and after the 7th day, it fell back down to regular or even below regular levels.
