I was walking to the bus this afternoon and there were these two mexican kids fighting. They were both 100 lbs at most although probably older than me. They lowered their heads and swung wildly with their fists. They fought for about 5 minutes with neither one landing any good shots. Finally, the fight ended when the littler one landed a lucky shot on the others face. It disgusts me that people who are almost adults don't know how to fight with proper stance and technique. Even an infant can swing their arms wildly like a complete idiot.

Why don't people these days know how to fight?

Even in England where you're not going to find guns all that often, you'll still get stabbed. I know how to fight, but I wouldn't put that to the test unless in the proper environment (ring, mat, cage, whatever) because I don't want to end up dead.
A punch can only do so much damage with so much effort. A knife needs just the slightest wrong move and you end up seriously injured, or dead.
