This sunday, the UK commemerates the fallen soldiers of all the conflicts since WW1.

I know that a similar day is held in the states, so I'd like to ask that again, time is taken to remember the people who didn't return, those who returned injured, and those men and women who are still away from home, involved in conflicts around the world.

This sunday, I believe there is still one living soldier who fought in WW1, who lied about his age, he was 14 when he signed up " to do his duty"

We have church services followed by laying of wreaths of red poppies (symbolic of the poppy fields of Flanders, France) at War Memorials in every village, town and city.

At 11AM cannons are fired in London, followed by a minutes silence to remember the fallen.
