Money saving Qs about Dave Palumbo's cut

I just have a few questions that I cant really seem to get an answer to after going through the first 37 pages of the big thread. Please I would really appreciate the input.

Mostly to do with the Whey protein and the type being used.

I know it says that whey isolate is best, and I use it for my post workout shake. But its expensive compared to regular protein, and to drink 2 scoops of this type of protein twice a day.....thats a good junk of change. I know using a whey isolate cuts down on carbs, which is helpful since you get about 6 grams from the peanut butter.

But what about using regular cheap whey with a couple grams of carbs (2-3) and then use olive oil for the fat? Can you drink oil? Taste doesnt really matter to me, as long as I can get the same result and it wont kill my stomach or something.

Also, whats the cheapest Fatty Fish/Meat source I can buy for the 5th meal?

    thanks for the help

Sure, a whey blend will work just fine as long as you watch carbohydrates elsewhere. Try Scivation whey. 1g carb per serving & it comes in affordable 10lb bags. If you need a cheap isolate, All the Whey makes affordable 5lb tubs & banging flavors.

Sardies are cheap as hell but really gross. Tuna is cheap but not very fatty at all. There's usually a manager's special on something.
