Haiz's MCT/Fuco/Sesathin Log - 9% to ????????
Haiz and MCT/Fuco/Sesathin - Road to SHRED
TWINLAB MCT Fuel is a high-octane "human machine oil" containing emulsified medium-chain triglycerides (MCT's) and emulsified natural vitamin E.
Found naturally in edible brown seaweed such as wakame (Undaria pinnatifida) and hijiki (Hijikia fusiformis), FooCox-10 (Fucoxanthin) is a type of caroteniod. FooCox-10, taken with a proper fitness program has been shown to increase weight loss, and provide antioxidant properties
Sesamin is a naturally occurring lignan present in sesame oil. It possesses great potential for decreasing fat mass and maintaining healthy weight, via its effects on fatty acid oxidation and adipogenic gene expression. It also has the potential to stack very well with other supplements that modulate these systems, such as LeptiGen, stimulants, androgens, and Ab-Solved
Starting Stats:
Heigh:6'0"
Weight: 186 lbs
BF:9% (Tested - 3 Point Caliper - Avg.)
Dosing (2x per day; once upon waking, next dose 12 hrs later):
2 caps Foocox-10
1 Sesathin cap and
10 grams of MCT oil
*Also, one Sesathin cap should be taken with your largest meal of the day
Diet
8:00 AM - Dosing of Stack
8:45 AM - Meal 1 - 2 Scoops of Whey + Oat Fiber + 20 grams of Peanut Butter + Fish Oil
12:00 - Meal 2 - 8oz Broccoli/Green Veggie + 6 Oz Chicken/Turkey + 1oz Almonds
4:00 - Meal 3: 9 Oz Lettuce + 1/2 TBLS Olive Oil + 6oz Chicken
6:30 - Dose 2 of Stack
7:00 - Meal 4 (Pre-Workout) - 1 Cup Cooked Rice + 7 Oz Chicken
10:30 - PWO Shake = 1/4 Cup Oats + 2 Scoops GF Pro
11:00 - Meal 5 - 1 Cup Oats + 5 Egg Whites + 1 Whole Egg
Workout Days ~ 2700 Calories with all starchy carbs pre/post.
Non-Workout Days ~ 2450 Calories with no PWO shake and reduced oats/rice to be replaced with fat.
Workouts will be detailed/explained as I do them, because they change so often.
Cardio right now is post-workout for 25 minutes. No cardio on leg days.
Temp for Day1/2 without the stack was:
Day 1:
Noon - 98.1
3 - 98.4
Day 2:
Noon - 97.9
3 0 98.0
Can't wait to get this started!

So the thermometer that I had taken the original two readings with broke. So I bought a new one and waited until today to start the stack. The readings from two more off days:
Day 1: 97.0 and 97.1
Day 2: 96.8 and 97.0
Very low readings which is interesting (Thermometer off?). Anyways. Dosing started today and I will update later.

Haha. Yes, under the tongue.
I suppose even if its not completely on, its consistent. As I suppose I'm going more for measuring differences, hopefully it will suffice.
I wouldn't be surprised though...I'm generally very cold/cool. I never sweat in the gym minus leg-days.

Days 1-3
All three of these days were workout days: Chest/Legs/Back. First, I'll start with the readings:
Day 1: Noon (97.0), 3PM (97.5)
Day 2: Noon (97.1), 3PM (97.4)
Day 3: Noon (97.0), 3PM (98.0)
All three days the diet/dosing was:
8AM: 56 Grams Whey + 20 Grams PB + Oat Fiber
Noon: 12 Oz Lettuce + 6 Oz Chicken + 1oz Almonds
2PM: Stack Consumed
3:30 PM: 12 Ounces Lettuce + 1/2 TBLS Olive Oil + 6oz Chicken
6:30 PM: 1 Cup Rice + 7oz Chicken
10:00: PWO Shake
11:00: Dosing of Stack
11:30: 1 Cup Oats + 1 Whole Egg + 5 Egg Whites
Thoughts
Whew. Well, after three days on the stack, I can DEFINITELY tell something is going on. I'm pretty sure my thermometer reads low, but it is consistently showing a rise in temp after dosing of the stack. For example, I usually drink ~3 cups of green tea at work. I usually get a bit warm, but it subsides after 5-10 minutes. During the three days on the stack, I have stayed warm for about 30 minutes after drinking my tea. In addition, I get quite warm to the point of needing to get up and walk around sometimes. Good stuff here.
As for my workouts - SWEAT FEST. I usually do not sweat during my workouts, minus legs. However, I even manged to work up a sweat during my chest workout, which never happens. Cardio after chest and back days is evidence of increased temp as well. I do sweat during cardio, but I have been DRIPPING from some low-intenisty cardio (only 25 minutes Post-workout). Today I sweated through 2 layers....
So far, I could not be happier with the increased temp. Looking forward to the weight/fat loss from this. I was already down to 184 this morning, but I assume this was probably from being a bit dehydrated from increased sweating during the night...who knows. Should prove to be some good stuff if what I am seeing so far continues to increase.

If fucox acts like an uncoupler, is it possible to grow muscle/produce a recomp effect whle using it?
Good luck with the log BTW.

Yes. Considering your 'uncoupling' fat, you still need to burn it. So a lean bulk yes, just watch any extra calories and carbs. DCP and FooCox is also an awesome stack for this. The TTA will help burn the uncoupled fat from the FooCox.

The combo seems very good. I'd think Salvia-M would be good too.

Days 4-6
More of the same from the stack. Definitely feeling an increase in temp after dosing. Sweating is down a bit from the prior two days.
Weight is still down about 2-3 pounds. Feeling good + maintaining strength.
I was thinking about getting more focu and dosing 3 caps twice per day...thoughts on this?

I'd really like to see an extended log.FYI,you can substitute fish oil or any othger EFA,PUFA,MCT or (such as Enova, flax, borage oil, extra virgin olive oil)
Enova (which a good chunk being MCT oil) has numerous other applications toweards improving body composition i.e.TRPV1 agonism to begin with.
If interested in Enova's MOA and such, check out Marc McDougal's article (Sexy Fats) on mindandmuscle.net.We would have included Enova in place of MCT oil if sourcing it was not such a difficult issue.

Perfect!
I ordered up 2 more Fuco's and some Enova. I'll be using that until its gone, then trying fish oil.
The past couple days I've dosed the focu at 3 caps twice per day...AMAZING in combo with the sesamin. Losing fat but staying the same weight. Good stuff so far.

Days 7-15
God, its been a while since I've updated. Getting all of my things in order before I head home to Vermont for Thanksgiving break. Some things I've noted:
--Body Temp is CONSISTENTLY (even in the AM before stack dosing) .25-.5 degrees higher than pre-log numbers. This is VERY impressive for me.
--Higher Body temp/sweating in the gym.
--Recomp effect: this is really what I want to focus on. So far, the combo of Focu/Sesathin has be AMAZING in this regard. Over the past 2 weeks, I have lost ZERO pounds. Now, this would generally be a bad thing, but Bodyfat measurements have me down about a total of 2.5 pounds of total fat, with a slight increase in Lean Body Mass. While many may not find these numbers terribly impressive, I could NOT be happier. Down 2.5 pounds of PURE FAT in 2 weeks, with a maintenance of all muscle can not be beat in my opinion.
--I'm not going to say it is all due to the supplements, but I've never had such a successful recomp period before. I'll get pics up later tonight to show you guys/gals what I mean.
--Some more notes here: I don't believe the MCT to be necessary to this stack. I definitely think you need to combine the focu with fat, but I'm doing just as well, if not better with Enova/Fish Oil than I was with the MCT.
--Focu dosed at 6 caps were day is CRAZY. Major increases in bodytemp. I'd love to see a higher % extract, so that dosing at this level was a bit more cost-efficient.
--Sesathin is solid as always. A really great combo with the focu.
--I would love to see a sesathin/focu/Salvia Combo. That would be a killer supplement/package deal.

Good to see that you made out nicely on the stack, especially regarding the recomp angle.personally I think Enova is the best absorption agent to use, because of what it does otherwise, fish oil a close second as one would want to take fish oil primarily with meals.MCT oil (Enova being largely MCT oil BTW) has its benefits as well.
We may be offering a salvia/fuco/sesamin(bulk to keep offering cost down) stack via Cozmar,I'll see what I can do.I think GPA should be included in there as well, lots of synergy. This would be very similiar to Avant's old school Phenogen and with AMPK agonism via GPA whilst fuco uncouples fat you'd have an exercise mimetic and uncoupler working in tandem.Basically, one's body would be in a state like cardio 24-7.
I'm working on a similiar premise with Phenogen Ultra from Avant licensed to LiveLong but we need to get the Avant backorder business dealt with before going beyond the conceptual stage of Pheogen Ultra (and a seperate Super Sesathin as well).

Ah...you are getting me WAY too excited.
I have 3 more bottles of focu and I'll be playing with the doses. I'm up to 3 caps twice per day now...Gotta get some pics up, because the difference right now is great.
Strength is still going up, recomping, losing fat. Good stuff.

Stumbled back on this thread, nice log haize, great results. And seemed to have a dramatic effect on body temp.
