Those are total junk. Every demo pair I see in a store are broken.
If they can't hold up to retail demo use, they damn sure aren't going to hold up in somebody's gym.

Horrible deal. I bought those exact same ones on black Friday two years ago for $149.00 @ Academy. They were ok, but upgraded to powerblocks and these on CL. I also did not like the 10 lb. increments. Too big of a jump on many exercises. I'd stay away.
