Is it possible to hit a cardio plateu?
I was wondering is it possible for someone to hit a cardio plateu and stop losing fat? If so how long would it normally take to hit a cardio plateu? Does the body just get used to the same exercise? Im doing incline walking right now and i love this type of cardio, if i were to change it up like do it 5 x per week and for the next month do it 3 times at an intenser rate and longer could that possible avoid hitting a plateu? Thanks

cardio is not equal to fat loss.
Your body may become more efficient at the cardio you are performing if you do the same thing, for the same amount of time, with the same intensity, on the same schedule and never change it up. Your body will adapt to meet the demands and what once was a challenge will seem like nothing. If you are finding cardio is easy then I would change either frequency, intensity, time, or the type you are performing.
If you have hit a plateau with weight loss you can either up your calorie expenditure, or drop your calorie intake, or even both should you need/desire.
Good luck man!

Yep, which is why it is a good idea to actually change up your cardio on a daily basis. I switch mine everytime I do it to keep my body guessing.
