Writing a term paper on a future dystopian society. Reps for help..
A dystopia--- is the vision of a society that is the opposite of utopia. A dystopian society is one in which the conditions of life are miserable, characterized by human misery, poverty, oppression, violence, disease, and/or pollution
I chose to use martial law as a topic and how citizens are put into concentration camps.
Can anyone show me some good info about FEMA and Martial Law?
Will rep good answers...Thanks

Have you read the book the running man? Excellent example of a dystopian society. No martial law though.

Yeah I have actually. I was thinking about doing my paper on a society like that. But i thought the paper would be better by using a scenario that could happen

Why couldn't that happen? I was pretty amazed that the book was written over 20 years ago and it did seem like that's how our society would turn out in maybe 20 or 30 years.

Your right. I was suffering to something that is effecting us present day, something that people can relate to when reading it to make the paper seem more real
