Bloat

Hi all.

Guessing this is the best place to ask.

I have been cutting for the last 3-4 weeks.

It's all been going good. Cut my carbs down and slightly increased my protein whilst mantaining a good amount of good fats.

Now a problem has arisen. For some reason I've started to get some made bloating going on.

My diet is in order.

The only thing I can think of it coming from is the rice that I eat.
I have replaced my carb source from Rolled oats(and alot at that, atleast 4-500grams worth daily) to Basmati Rice(cut down to about 230-250 grams).

As you can see my carbs have been cut down a fair bit, yet I am experiencing some heavy bloating in my stomach.

My only theory behind this is that I am not fully digesting the Rice?(don't know but yeah that's all I can think of).

I am perfectly fine in the morning when I wake up(8 hours, nothing in stomach.) No bloating, but come the end of the day my gut seems to extend further than my chest, even when I am holding it in?

Just wondering If any of you guys had any ideas?

Much appreciated.

Josh

P.s I did not experience this when I was bulking and my carb source was Oats.

I had to give up my white rice for this reason.

Come to think of, most carb sources make me bloated.

The only thing I do good on is protein....

My ex GF's sister has some disorder where she cannot digest carbs like others.

She would just get bloated and continue to gain fat as long as she ate all the carbs (mostly grains were the culprit)

Yeah I'm thinking it's the rice too.

Can't be carbs in general because like I said, I had no problems with rolled Oats and that was at twice the amount of carbs.

It's def bloat though because I can still see my abs quite clearly(at about 7-8% bf)

Oh sound slike your ex's sister has a thyroid disorder(unable to turn carbs into energy or something on the lines, a friend of mine also had it).

Is that what it is? I never talked about the disorder w/ the sister, nor did I know the name of the disorder. I suppose that is it.
