    Post British Grand Prix 2003

Anyone watch this? It was on Sky Sports. Judges and audience were in accordance for a change. If I remember the top 6 correctly it went:

    1) Dexter Jackson
    2) Dennis James
    3) Chris Cormier
    4) Ernie Taylor
    5) Tommy Thorvildsen
    6) Claude Groulx

Dexter walked it, was in excellent condition and his legs were looking huge - usual ripped abs and great routine. Cormier was looking like he was carrying too much water but I think his size deservedly earned him third. It was good to see James doing well, ET was looking good, I think he's stopped the injections into his triceps. Groulx gave the usual solid performance and Thorvildsen, well I dunno bout him.

Dexter's first pro show and he kind of new before it that he had it won.

yeah i watched it, iwas a bit dissapointed with the coverage though. IMO there should of been interviews, backstage footage etc...

Dexter did look awsome and he has found a new fan in me I dont know whether you noticed but did you see Claude Groulx toes? He's got 6!!! therefore he really is a freak, i wonder if Ronnie Coleman has got 2 large intestines?

dexter always looks great, but i think his placing depends more on
the size of the competition and how he compares.

it's good to see james place ahead of cormier. his conditioning
is really hit or miss. he'll do a photo shoot before a contest and
look incredible, then show up at the contest and look average.

ernie taylor tends to get overlooked, I think in the 2002 olympia
he should have placed a couple spots higher and in the top 10.
he, james and atwood should have been 9-10-11 in that contest
    instead of 10th 12th and 14th.
taylor has one of the best vtapers/lat spreads in the business.

thorvildsen has a lot of potential, like kamali...BUT there are now
a slew of white guys with similar shapes to Tommi AND will always
    beat him.

woah! an ernie taylor fan outside of the UK!!!!

I must admit his taper is sweet, but his triceps are nasty and his legs dont pack enough size. Which leads me to synthol which the judges have really clamped down on and ernie has suffered.

yea, its unfortunate that he is always haunted by these flaws.
but they are there and can't be ignored. with his build I can't
see him being able to improve a lot like the cutlers, colemans
    or gunter types out there.

ET oughta be getting noticed for his awesome+overlooked back
    and not his arms.

I always thought Earnie Taylor had a good physique. What he needs to do is let his tircpes drain (or stop training them) and get the synthol out of his teardrops and he would place much higher.
