JP8 - New Flavor - Vote now!

Working on 3 possible new flavors for JP8, from your past experience with flavors of drinks, supplements or not, which one would you prefer of the 3, or rank in your order of "most would like." It may also come down to which flavor taste the best when I get the samples in soon.

i don't like the taste of watermelon anything. I just don't think drinks should taste like watermelon, just something I didn't grow up drinking.

watermelon is good, but it's tricky to get. i've only tasted one or two supplements with watermelon flavoring that hit it on the head.

that being said, i voted for raspberry lemonade. even if you can get it a decent taste, i'd definitely give it a try. blue raspberry is always good, too. is there a particular way you're trying to flavor this (sweet, sour, etc.) because i know certain ingredients almost need to be flavored a certain way to cover them up or they will just taste nasty?

Yea agreed that raspberry lemonade or a blue razz would be the way to go IMO. I'd also gladly have grape over fruit punch or watermelon.

I had to jump on the only Raspberry bandwagon.
I don't mind grape, but I am sick to death of fruit punch flavor. I refuse to pay money for fruit punch flavored supps or drinks.

It's one thing to taste bad and deliver great results. This stuff tastes like unwiped ass and honestly I felt nothing from it. Diesel Fuel was so strong I took less than the recommended dosage but this stuff just doesnt work for me.

Does nothing to diminish my love for Diesel Test though.

I dont really make products for psyies, but I understand JP8 is in a "main stream" cat., so with that said, out of all the products, I have to make it more important to make JP8 taste more "commercial." Thats why the new flavors for it will be done by a flavor company specifically for JP8's mix.

yeah, thats why I asking what flavors consumers like to taste. Actually flavoring isnt that hard, Ive just always tried to avoid a heavy emphasis on artificial flavors and sweeteners. Like I said with JP8, its in that "mainstream" category of "NO/creatine/Pre-workout" products so people would rather have something that "taste good" than put results #1 on the buying decision list. Also most other drinks are easy to flavor because companies specifically formulate the product around the flavor. They would rather use lower doses of certain herbs, than have it not taste like kool-aid.

Chuck, what you are saying makes no sense. Are you saying that decent taste and results are mutually exclusive and if so, why? Most NO/Preworkout products taste decently and deliver similar results. Quite honestly, JPQ does neither. Please explain why it cant taste great and work at the same time.

What I said does make sense. You didnt understand what I said. I didnt say products that taste great dont work. I said when you dont formulate around taste, its harder to have a popular "flavor" of product, which is very important in the NO/pre-workout/creatine market.

Any updates about new flavors? As an old Diesel consumer I've had the flavor discussion many times and I really don't care if it tastes horrible, but I know that it matters to a lot of people. And for the record I think JP8 tastes bad mainly because of the ALCAR, but it most certainly does work.

Fruit Punch is okay, but like most of the posters are saying, I'm getting tired of it. And Grape doesnt float my boat. Controlled Labs Purple Wraath is the only grape flavor anything I can stand drinking.

But Razznade gets my vote.
