Help My Shoulders
I have some extrordinarily weak shoulders. i am not a small guy either. What can I do to improve my shoulders. i am looking for a twice week program for shouydlers with aroun three or four excercises or less if possible. I currently do 4 sets of BBell Milotary Presses, 3 sets of dBell presses, and Dbell up right rows. I do not really like to do Lateral raises. Am I shortchanging myself?

Military press behind or front up to you

I cant do lateral raises. They cause my right shoulder to pop amost everytime, and it hurts a little. I mainly stick with presses. Am I selling myself short if I dont do lateral raises??

Keep the dumbbell shoulder presses
I don't like barbell military
Then again do what feels best
I would do db press first, front raises second, maybe side laterals third, and up right rows last (what I do)

Get some joint supps. Seems like your major limmiter is your shoulder pain.

Some type of vertical pressing movement...
Lateral raises or wide grip upright rows...
Bent over lateral raises....
3-4 sets of each exercise ONCE/week will hit all 3 heads completely. Progressively add weight as needed. Keep the rep schemes somewhere between 8-20 reps...Yes shoulders need more reps!

I think I will try some your suggestions. I need to do something to improve. My shoulders are around 50in and have been there for the last 8 months. I really want to be around 53-55in.

Lateral raises are important in developing the width of your shoulders, so I'd do them. Also try to incorporate some bent laterals into your program as well.

Standing barbell press also works pretty good, works your abs too, I personally like push jerks though, but don't jump into too heavy weight until you have good form
