Post workout....
I just walked like 15 miles, should I drink some protein? And can I have cheese right after?

Get protein in whenever you want.
Also, if i'm going to cheat or eat like crap (not saying cheese is that bad) I always do it immediately after my workout because my body will make use of everything more then than at any other time.

i always take a protein shake after cardio...
