Talking ATHLETIC EDGE NUTRITION- IntraXCell, summary review thread*

With a NEW AEN product soon to be launching, we thought it was a good idea to separate the reviews on our various products, instead of having one thread with them all mixed together.

I really like the Beta Alanine Products that have been coming out.
Read my reviews for Body Octane and H-Blocker

Having tried those, I was quite excited to try the newest offering by Athletic Edge Nutrition - Intra X Cell.
Now, I must tell you that I held off reviewing this longer than most as I was unable to push myself really hard the first week or two that I was taking this, due to injuries.
During that time I also noticed that this was not the "immediate hit" that Body Octane and H-Blocker are. Most powders hit faster than capsules anyway.
So I thought I was going to be disappointed, but I found that, with IntraXCell, the feeling came on slower but lasted MUCH longer than the other two products.
It was able to hold through the entire workout and I could even still feel it on the drive home.
I will give this 4.5 out of 5, damn near perfect for what it does.
Another home run for Athletic Edge.

    Strength 8/10

Seeing as how I have gained 20lbs on barbell curls and 20lbs on military presses it's hard to argue that IntraXCell/SteelEdge do not work. I must say I was expecting more in the strength department but I am satisfied with the strength that I gained. Most people see better strength gains using IntraXCell but I think I made up for it in mass.

    Size 10/10

12lbs in one month! No this is not a MuscleTech ad but real results from a product that really works. I have put 12lbs on this month with a decent diet and the AEN stack. The weight is lean muscle as you can tell from my pictures. At no point did I ever feel fat from bulking which is very important to me. I don't know how I put so much weight on but I can tell you the SteelEdge and IntraXCell had a huge part to play. Putting on mass was the most important thing for me to do and this stack really helped me. Very happy with the results in this department.

    Endurance 8/10

I was able to put more reps up; plain and simple. I was able to workout harder and still keep the same weight for the next set. Again the endurance gains where not what I thought they would be but again its hard to argue such good results. I may not have felt like my endurance was getting better but the muscle I put on seems to disagree.

    Price 10/10

Well worth the cost. SteelEdge is the best pre workout formula I have ever used. Its not to strong but its not to weak; it's just right. The amount of servings you get is plenty considering you only have to take in on workout days. I have yet to finish the bottle and I am now about 1 month and 9 days into it. IntraXCell is priced very well for what you get and the deals on bodybuilding.com when you buy multiple bottles are quite generous.

    The Company 10/10

The people behind the product are just as important as the product itself. AEN is a great company and puts great pride into their products. Customers are treated very well and everyone who works at AEN that I have spoken to are very kind.

    Overall 9/10

One of the better stacks I have used in my bodybuilding carrer. This is a must try for anybody who is serious about lifting and wants to take their workouts to the next level. AEN is a great company and I am very excited for their future products.

I want to thank everyone at AEN for letting me test their stack and for helping me along the way. I also want to thank trainingaddict as he has helped keep me motivated this past month.

    -

    SteelEdge

    Focus 10/10

Nothing can dial me in like a scoop of SteelEdge. I have tried countless pre workout supplements but nothing can compare to SteelEdge. The focus even on the car ride to the gym in intense, some of my best driving experiences have been while using SteelEdge. In the gym you get such a sence of euphoria and the weights just seems to lift themselves. Very happy with the focus

    Price 10/10

You cannot beat the price. The amount of servings you get is great. I have yet to finish the bottle and have been using SteelEdge for 1 month a 9 days. SteelEdge only requires one scoop on workout days which beats the hell out of taking 4 scoops everyday with some other pre workout products.

    Energy 10/10

The energy is perfect. I like being stimulated but damn some of the stuff out their really freaks me the hell out. Ill be doing a barbell curl looking over my back while hearing voices. The energy is enough to get your ass moving but not to make you shake and feel like an 8 ball addict.

    Pump 9/10

Considering this stuff isnt pure arginine it gives you a mighty powerfull pump. The pumps where pretty massive and really made the arms bigger. Pumps arnt a big deal in my book but if I get some from a product I wont complain; having said that I wont complain.

    Vascularity 10/10

I can tell when I have taken SteelEdge because the veins that I do have expand and pop out nice and big. Again this area isn't a big concern of mine but I guess it does look cool and the nutrients I imagine have an easier time getting to my muscles.

    Formula 10/10

The only real pre workout supplement for bodybuilding. Nothing I have seen can compare to what is in SteelEdge. The results really let you know that the formula is second to none.

    Final 10/10

Best pre workout supplement I have used. I will continue to use this product untill it's time to buy more

    -

    IntraXCell

    Strength 7/10

For me the strength gains came right at the end of the 30 days. Its wierd how for three weeks I felt nothing and then the last week my strength really improved. The strength boost is much stronger than that of any creatine I have taken so far. I am happy with the strength that I have gained but it is sad that it took so long to kick in.

    Price 10/10

The fact that you can get 3 bottles for 81 bucks is an awsome deal. This product is well worth the price as is one of the best supplements I have taken to date. Great price for a great product.

    Size 10/10

The pictures dont justify the size I have put on in the past month. I have really turned my body around and I can tell. Im very happy with the 12lbs I have put on. I going to try to get some better pictures up as soon as possible but with the pictures I have provided I think its easy to tell that I have put some solid mass on.
    t.

    Vascularity 8/10

Veins where sticking out in places that I had never had veins before. It was not like an arginine product but there was increased vascularity. The veins in my shoulders really pop out where as before they never did. I have not dropped wieght nor gained bodyfat so these veins have been getting bigger.

    Formula 10/10

This is just not a BA product. IntraXCell has an awsome antioxidant formula that many other BA products lack. This alone puts IntraXCell at the top of the pack when talking about BA products.

    Endurance 9/10

If it wasnt for the fact that the gym had hours I would be there all day. I never really felt like I had a complete workout because my muscles never got really tired. This allowed me to beat my muscles down and have them recover at just the same rate. Awsome feeling

End of Log IntraXcell finish today

    Day 32

Previous workouts Arms did not suffer at all from tuesday..Yesterday was a rest day and Legs still not healed.Quads ok..Inner Hamstring felt like a rod....No pace at all with cardio(and I did cardio 3 times yesterday)...Definetly could be that I smashed legs extra hard due to IntraXcell delaying fatigue...Like I have said I did get on average 3 extra reps on each set...When I was fatigued at 9...I would not rest till I got 12!

Hamstrings still not healed for today completely. But felt fresh for this workout.

Back and Calves Oh how awful.....I missed My Steel Edge today..I enjoy drinking it thru the workout so much.

Met up with Solarize at his gym.(sorry no training video's )

He said up for deadlifts...I not done any this year due to lower back gives me grief for up to a week after. But now it is healed..

Boy I knew I had been born today...Like they really were hard and smashed u to oblivion...every muscle wants to give way under the strain.
Back workout continued with some quality excercises.Moderate weight and great Lat pumps...with bonus bicep inflation.

Calves had lots of endurance..burnt them out Leg Press doing calves and seated calves...Reps were excellent..<(intra)> and they ached for hours afterwards. And then much later I still had nothing to give for cardio..:/

    Conclusion and Summation

I did not know what to expect.I did not read online anything about Products..But Steel Edge....the drive and the focus....Never felt anthing like it.And it is essential part of Your desire to acheive...
I cannot wait to take it again in 2 weeks.

IntraXcell The weights just kept going up and the reps acheived in this month were phenonemal...I really did set new records for myself...and all the while I was cutting...I acheived so much fat loss and still kept gaining muscle I am sure thanks to this Product.

Athletic Edge Nutrition are Truly First Class Products...God Help someone beat them(can't be done) And If they ever bring out a new product....Wow...Results will be Intense.

Cannot Afford to continue with IntraXcell at this time.(I know I really should-I will try to find funds)

But Otherwise I can't wait to stack these products again near the end of the month will some Controlled Labs Products....Yes it's going to be an intense ride back up the scales.

Thank You Sebastian for selecting me as a Tester..Your support through out....has been exemplary.

My Log is very detailed. So that anyone can see at a glance without too much scrolling that these products really kick.

    >>> INTRODUCTION/ BACKDROP:

This is the final review from my 30 day AEN IntraXCell log.

Athletic Edge Nutrition?s IntraXCell product is only the second beta alanine product I?ve ever tried, and the first time I?ve tried beta alanine without any form of creatine alongside it.

Over the course of using IntraXCell my training was divided into two sections. Weeks 1-2 can at the end of a very high volume phase, with workouts lasting up to 56 sets at the end of the final week. Weeks 3-4+ were more geared toward strength and intensity.

Other than training everything, including my diet was very baseline and consistent- nothing else fancy going on at all during this other than the addition of the IntraXCell.

    ------------------

    >>> PRODUCT:

Bottle looked great. Nice packaging- obviously some careful thought had gone on into the design and feel of the product. There?s a ton of reading on the side compared to other products which I liked. Obviously a lot of it is marketing but it?s still informative and claims weren?t outrageous by any means. The caps themselves are tasteless and odourless. When I got to the last few servings there was the distinct eggy whiff of NAC but it was very mild.

    >>> STRENGTH:

As explained earlier I had the oppertunity to test parameters over two segments- the Volume Phase and the Intensity Phase.

My strength goal during the Volume Phase was to maintain strength over increasing volume. I think I managed this surprisingly successfully. Moving from a total of 35 sets to 56 sets (5 sets per exercise to 8 sets per exercise) my strength barely wavered to the point where I only lost around 5% strength from set 1 to 8. The great thing was that every session I left the gym absolutely trashed with zero left in the tank yet the next session I had enough to keep up the template of the program.. although I?d leave equally as trashed.

Moving from the Volume Phase to the Intensity Phase presented many interesting contrasts for me. In terms of strength though there was some slight improvements from the volume phase but nothing beyond what I?d contribute to training alone.

    >>> RECOVERY:

Inter-set recovery was typically excellent throughout both training phases. During the Volume Phase I drop rest times significantly and still feel recovered enough within a 60 second rest time to be able to start the next set. This helped me keep high volume workouts both concise and intense. Unsurprisingly I typically find that the main compound movements require much more recovery time than isolation movements, but this difference seemed a lot less significant whilst on IntraXCell.

During the lower volume Intensity Phase the workouts were more geared toward strength. Here it seemed that whilst recovery was still improved, it was slightly less improved compared to recovery between higher volume sets. I think some of this may have been related to the extra cardio-vascular recovery required when specifically both ?lifting heavy? and to concentric failure.

    >>> ENDURANCE:

Endurance was an aspect in which IntraXCell really did shine. After the series of gruelling high volume workouts I felt like I couldn?t do any more but every session I went back and increased the volume I could not only keep up the volume but maintain quality throughout those sets. This occurred session after session and really allowed me to tackle 56 set workouts head on and in a concise fashion (unlike my final reviews ).

During the Intensity sessions I still noticed increased endurance and recovery between sessions, but it was really telling at the end of my workouts for two reasons. Firstly, my workouts during the Intensity sessions ended up very short- much shorter than I would expect and I put this down to increased recovery between sets. Secondly, at the end of my workouts I very much felt like I had a tonne more energy left in me. Which nicely leads me to discuss IntraXCell cardio?

    >>> CARDIO:

? as cardio on IntraXCell had some perks of its own. Firstly, having a shorter more intense workout provides you with the time at the end of my workouts for some quality cardio. Also, still feeling fresh at the end of my workout gave me the motivation to get on a treadmill for a few miles- helping me attain my fitness goals. I also found that muscular endurance was notably improved during cardio sessions and ultimately I was only limited by my cardiovascular fitness, which obviously improved over time.

    >>> BODY COMPOSITION:

I noticed some slight leaning out, but nothing attributable to anything other than high volume workout and cardio. I did also put on a small amount of weight (~1.5lbs) which was nice after dropping some weight after ceasing creatine at the end of last year in order to come into this log 'clean'.

    >>> VASCULARITY/ PUMPS:

There was no discernible change in either vascularity or pumps. Normally I don?t respond particularly great to NO booster type products in terms of pumps but I have usually noticed massively improved vascularity in my calves as weird as it may sound. Whilst using IntraXCell I did not notice anything like this. The benefit of this was that I suffered no or back calf pumps during cardio sessions.

    >>> SIDES/ TINGLES:

I thought I?d put a little comment in here on the beta alanine tingles. I?ve used a beta alanine product before and never experienced the ?tingles? before. Throughout most of this log I again experienced zero tingle type effects. However, towards the end of the bottle I did experienced it twice- strangely enough both times were when I took my IntraXCell along with some Diet Coke. Once was after a meal and the second was one of the rare occasions I took a dose an hour away from a meal. Both times the tingles felt like a a ?prickly heat? type thing running across my back, forearms, hands and fingers. It wasn?t a bad feeling but I didn?t enjoy it either. Both experiences lasted 10-15 minutes.

Other than that there were zero sides. No gastrointestinal problems or anything else.

    ------------------

    >>> FINAL THOUGHTS:

Finally, I really liked the product overall. Having never used a beta alanine standalone product before it was an enjoyable experience. Many people will say that bulk beta alanine is better value. For me it?s a matter of what you want out of the product. IntraXCell represents a convenient and fuss free way of taking beta alanine. I like the addition of NAC and ALA. Although I?m uncertain about the dose of ALA in this product, given that the effectiveness of beta alanine is said to improve when taken alongside carbs/meals the ALA is a nice addition at meal time, particularly higher carb ones.

We've all heard the remarks that beta alanine is 'the next creatine'. As a non-responder to regular creatine monohydrate I would say that IntraXCell easily blew that away in all departments. I think I've enjoyed MCC the most out of all creatine products I've tried as this was the only form from which I gained a discernible amount of strength, something which I didn't notice from IntraXCell either. In terms of endurance and stamina though IntraXCell stands toe to toe with all of the (standalone) creatine products I've ever tried.

I would certainly recommend it to endurance and sports athletes as well as those training in high volume ranges based on recovery and endurance enhancement of this product. Based on my experiences changes in strength were less significant, but that does not overshadow the potential benefits in recovery and endurance for those training for strength and lower volume either.

I?d hope that the fact that you can?t really ?feel? the product (other than perhaps the ?tingles?) doesn?t put people off for more ?glamorous? supplementation. Overall, whilst it wasn?t a mind blowing product the subtle but important effects of IntraXCell/beta alanine will certainly put it into my regular supplement list and I?d definitely recommend it as a core supplement to anyone looking to develop upon their fitness related goals.

--- Thanks again to Sebastian and Athletic Edge Nutrition
for providing me with the opportunity to win and subsequently use and log IntraXCell ---

I am very hesitant to give any product a 10 on anything, But I give this a 9 for sure. I was getting stronger each workout with IntraXcell well maintaining my bodyweight throughout the whole thing. I find that pretty remarkable, the biggest PR was the 40 lbs PR I got on barbell bench press.

    Endurance: 9 out of 10
This product made each workout so easy it was kind of sad, I always felt like I could of done so much more well taking intraXcell and had to hold myself back a lot so I didnt overtrain. I actually ended up going from hitting each muscle once a week to twice and the strength gains were better. This was my favorite part of intraXcell and the cardio workouts were much much easier which is always a plus, because cardio is a drag.

Body Composition: 8 out of 10
I maintained my weight throughout this whole log, BUT I am notciably leaner then before and stronger. So this leads me to conclude that I lost a bit of fat well actually gaining some lean mass. This whole log was kind of a recomp and I must say it went very well.

Overall Rating: 9 out of 10
I highly recommend intraXcell for anyone serious in training, I dont respond to creatine to well and was hesistant this product would not work but it worked great. Very happy with the strength gains, the endurance and overall changes I made to my physique during my short log. I am now supplementing with Bulk Beta Alaline at the moment to see if it works as good as intraXcell, we will see. Thumbs up to Atheletic Nutrition for a great supplement.

Thanks to all who are with Atheltic Nutrition for letting me log this, and sorry for taking so long to post my review.

First off I just want to thank everybody associated with AEN, that being the reps and Sebastian himself. They were all very helpful during these past 30 days and were an intricate part to this log. It should be known that this was my first time using a Beta-Alanine product aside from a couple random samples here and there. These are my own thoughts and are based on my performance over the past 30 days and also how the product performed. To learn more about IntraXCell, you should go here.

    STRENGTH

I must say that strength was something that I commented on quite frequently during this log. Substantial gains in strength could be felt from the second week until the end of my 30 day cycle and many PR's were broken each and every workout. Most notably, my squat went from 225lbs for 8 reps to 245lbs for 8 reps. 225lbs was a plateau for me at this rep range and judging by the 20 pound increase in only a month, I feel that IntraXCell can be seen as a major contributer for this. Close grip bench press went from 135lbs to 155lbs at the same rep range! I began leg pressing 500lbs for 8 reps for the first time, a 50lbs increase from my previous PR! Judging from these solid gains in excercises where I was stalled at the most, strength has definitly gone up very quickly in only 30 days on this product. Numbers only tell half the story, I am using the same weight and rep range for some excercises, but this is with better form and sometimes after a superset or dropset. I have been very impressed with the extra strength latly and overall, contributes to this being a very solid product.

    OVERALL: 9.5/10

    ENDURACE

Another claim made by AEN is that IntraXCell will increase endurace in athletic activites. Again, I felt these claims were met and far excedeed my expectations. From the first couple of days on, endurance was much better and my workouts improved greatly because of this. I work in a pool for 6 hours a day teaching swimming lessons and by the end of work I can feel pretty drained and tired. For a couple months leading up to my log my endurance was extremly poor and this is why I was interested in this product. Over the last month I was able to add extra sets and reps to different excercises and perform at a high level for the entire workout. I was able to utilize supersets and dropsets much more frequently then I was use to and as seen thoughout the log, I was left with extra energy at the end of my workout. Solid gains in this area.

    OVERALL: 9/10

    MUSCLE FULLNESS/PUMPS

It should be known that I was on no NO product while this log was going on, so pumps can quite easily be attributed to this product. Pumps seemed a little hit and miss but for the most part I was quite impressed in this area as well. Pumps were quite intense at times and were evident immidiatly at the start of this log. Muscle fullness was good and this was felt long after my workout. Again solid in this area.

    OVERALL: 8/10

    OVERALL PRODUCT RATING: 9/10

    CLOSING COMMENTS

Again I just want to thank AEN and also everyone who participated in and followed the log. You guys definitly made it an enjoyable experience and something that I will want to do again soon. It was very hard not to stay motivated and push hard during my workouts with all the great people doing the same and commenting on my progress. So I thank everyone for that and will definitly keep following all of your progress.

IntraXCell is a product I would recommend to anybody who trains hard and is looking for an advantage in the gym. It far exceeded my expectations in many areas and as a supplement in general. I hope to work with AEN again and close this log now hoping that it will shed some light on what a great product this really is. Keep lifting hard!

I took on this test back in April to see how I would react with SteelEdge and IntraXCell. I extended the four week test to eight weeks, which I paid for, because I know my body would probably take a little while before the IntraXCell would kick in and really give me anything really noticeable and worthy of writing anything up on. So, here are the two products broken down.

    IntraXCell
This was the one I knew I?d have to wait for any kind of effects. This was the main reason I really wanted to do this test. I?ve always been a Eat food and just stick to the basic supplement kind of guy. You know, take the protein powder only when necessary other wise EAT, take a multi, and just the past year got into creatine. I was even wondering if creatine was helping me. I stopped taking creatine about a month before this opportunity came around because I didn?t know if it was actually helping. It turns out it was helping with recovery. I don?t know about strength because that didn?t go down at all but by about three weeks after stopping I was starting to get some serious DOMS and harder to recover from one workout to the next. I was about to start taking creatine when this opportunity came around and decided what the heck lets try it out.

I took three caps before and after workout and three caps in the morning three caps in the evening on non-training days. It took about four weeks until I realized it was actually starting to work. I looked back at week three and realized my DOMS was starting to go away a little sooner. Every week after that, I had less and less DOMS and quicker and quicker recovery times. The last few weeks I have had zero DOMS and fully ready to go for my next workout. I can definitely say that this product has done exactly what I hoped it would do and that is to help with recovery between training sessions. I haven?t been taking it light and easy either, at least not for me. I?ll let the numbers in my log speak for me there.

The IntraXCell delivered exactly what I wanted and severely needed in order to help keep up with the training that I do. The caps are very convenient and on a few occasions I uncapped them into my shaker to take with me. They do have a slight smell so don?t be surprised there.

I plan to take IntraXCell again in about two or three months for a three month cycle along with creatine and will probably keep SteelEdge in my arsenal for those days that I really really need the boost. Thanks so much Athletic Edge Nutrition and everyone that has commented on my log or has been following along. I have to make special mention of Skircus7 as you?ve really been there pretty much every day.

Steeledge - Taste was rather good...one of the better tasting products in my opinion. Effects from the steeledge were very good. I actually felt like my muscles were harder than ever before on steeledge. It gave me a great pump in the gym. Mental focus was decent not the best i have had but still very high quality. The only down side of the steel edge is that it didn't mix all that well. There was setiment after shaking a couple of times...OVERALL - Very good product and for the price makes it even better

IXL - enough can't be said about IXL. I absolutely love this product. Incredible muscle endurance during my workouts and i even felt better doing cardio as well. I was able to push myself harder and add on some workouts to better myself. Great product...will def. be a staple in my supplementation during wrestling season. AEN give yourself a pat on the back for this one. OVERALL - one of the better products that i have used and its great b/c you can really feel the difference.

    SteelEdge:
IT WORKS!! I guess I can be a little more descriptive then that. IT WORKS RIGHT AWAY!!! ? okay okay more info, I get it. I really didn?t know what to expect from this product. I never took any kind of stimulants, focusing, nootropics, or what ever category this product wishes to fall into. The entire two weeks I could feel the effects and they never dwindled. I did take the last week off from taking it and took them only on my max attempt days here this last week in a double dose to really feel the punch.

In about 15minutes I can start feeling the effects. Its effects are much different then if I were to drink several cups of coffee. It?s not just a caffeine rush that would make me all jittery. However, I did have some good foot tapping times to the tunes I was listening too here and there. It gave me more of a sense of being fully awake and not just dragging myself out of bed at 5:30am. I would feel ready to go and have the energy for a full workout that could last several hours, which I don?t do anyways but I felt like I could. I would normally take only one scoop but when I did take two scoops then it was a complete rush. I would feel like getting up and playing the air guitar across the gym floor.

I always wondered what people meant when they said something gave them focus. I always figured I had a lot of focus because of my training and not because of some supplement. On a few occasions, not all the time for me, I finally felt what it was meant for a product to produce focus. I?m usually in a zone but on those few times I was in an entire different zone then normal. Very hard to describe, but I wouldn?t think about anything else then the weights in front of me. I wouldn?t remember hearing any music or seeing any people just lifting, pushing, and pulling the weights.

So, overall great product. Taste is a bit bitter but very doable. It worked every time. Gave a great boost but didn?t go overboard. The focus when it came around was very nice!

on a side note i just want to apologize to AEN for not keeping a frequently updated log. i had originally not planned for this to run this long..but the real quality is in the products...great products...and one last time IXL is just absolutely amazing..enjoyed this product very much...so for anyone who reads this go pick up a bottle of IXL it will def. be worth it..

Thank you again AEN i appreciate this oppurtunity..good luck in the future..

i ordered 3 bottles and am almost finished with the 1st bottle. this stuff is definately working. i weigh between 165 and 170. kind of fluctuates in that area. before intraxcell i was lucky to bench 225lbs 4 reps 1 set. during my last workout i put up 225 for 3 sets of 8. this is definately the strongest ive ever been since i started lifting and i still have a little over 2 bottles to go.

other supps are in my sig. but im sure the strength increase is due to the intraxcell as the only other thing im taking for strength is storm, which ive always taken.

i highly recommend this stuff. great results with absolutely no sides.

    Review:

It's interesting to look at different supplements that are ostensibly the same, but do not act in a similar manner. Creatine is one of the first that comes to mind, where the function seems to follow the various forms rather specifically in that some work wildly well and others do not appear to do anything more than cost money. So it goes with beta-alanine.

I've tried a number of different things with this in it, MAN Body Octane (reviewed here), Controlled Labs Purple Wraath (reviewed here), some of it specifically beta-alanine and nothing else, 8Ball Nutrition's Black Betas (in a BodyBLOG post, I think) and some of them have helped to varying degrees and some of them have been entirely ineffectual.

The thing foremost I have observed and really found out during the aforelinked Log is that the brand makes a huge difference. Back when I was pounding the Black Betas, I never once got a tingle, ever, yet all it would take is 1 scoop of Purple Wraath and it would be off to the races. MAN Body Octane sometimes would and sometimes would not. IntraXCell, until I got conditioned to it, would tingle incessantly, particularly as I was following that with the Purple Wraath.

Once I hit the saturation/loading point, I finally experienced everything I'd read about beta-alanine. Workouts were a lot easier in terms of fatigue during the workout and especially in terms of endurance. Recovery between exercises (though not necessarily between sets) was pronounced and it seemed difficult to really feel as if I had exhausted the respective muscle groups. My nerves eventually re-tuned to the point where I could again "feel" whether something was worked well enough or not, but for a while, it was a really odd sensation to watch muscles not be able to complete reps, rather than feeling it coming on before that. Workouts went much faster and performance did not seem to slide much at all during Lifting workouts, even when I cut rest down to almost nothing. Performance was actively enhanced on Cardio workouts.

    Verdict:

As I said, I started the Log as a skeptic, but became a believer halfway through and bought enough to last me into next year sometime, which is a more powerful statement of my thoughts on this than any glowing terms I can type here.

Alright, well first off, thanks again to Sebastian and anyone else who had a hand in choosing me for this log. Also, a thanks goes out to the people who visited and busted my balls (and Tim for licking my balls )! I believe I first said that I would only be logging this in the aspect of pure strength, but I couldn't help but put it to the test in the recovery/endurance aspect as well.

    Strength
    7.5/10

As for the strength aspect, I hit PRs on almost all lifts and if there was not PR, then there was an increase in reps and/or weights. My first and last weeks were exactly the same workouts and all the numbers went up. During my last week, I started with the same weight as performed on the first week and there was a quite noticable increase in reps. I then went onto "working weights" and carried on as usual.

    Endurance/Recovery
    9/10

In the endurance/recovery category, I put this to test during the middle two weeks with dropsets of shoulders and arms. There was an increase, more or less, in volume and/or weight performed during these dropsets. I didn't really think it was feasible, nor safe, to perform dropsets of chest, back, and legs. However, in the future, I will attempt something simple maybe dumbbell flyes, lat pulls, and leg extensions for dropsets, but nothing intricate as what I had performed for my shoulders and arms. Long-story-short, I had some kickass dropsets, nuff said!

    Overall
    8.5/10

It's a kickass product. I would buy it!

First off I want to thank the guys at Athletic Edge Nutrition for giving me the chance to test out these two supplements. I was very pleased with the effectiveness of both of the supplements and I hope that the readers of this forum were able to get an unbiased idea of what to expect from these supps.

    TASTE: N/A (capsules)

3 caps per serving. Getting these down isn't an issue at all.

    MIXABILITY: N/A

Once again these are in easy to swallow capsule form.

    EFFECTIVENESS: 9 out of 10

I can definitely say that after around 10-14 days in I started to notice increases in strength and stamina. It was most noticeable when trying to sqeeze out them last couple reps.

I set a few PR's during this log that made me happy.

    PRICE: N/A

    Sponsored log.

    OVERALL: 9 out of 10

The tingling began to subside after a couple weeks. I did notice all the way up until the last serving that I would still get the random tingles but they seemed to come in much later. More like 45-60 minutes after my serving compared to 10-15 minutes in like at the beginning. Either way the tingling is very minor and didn't seem to cause any benefits or drawbacks in my lifts. It may be good for a psychological boost however.

One thing I really like about beta-alanine is the ability to take it with or without food. This made my preworkout routine that much easier having the ability to take down a meal/shake anywhere up to the point of lifting.

Overall, I'm very impressed with the results of the beta-alanine. I seemed to notice best results in the gym when taking my serving of IXL 30-45 minutes before hitting the weights. It also seemed more effective the more water I drank with it.

I would recommend this supplement in addition to creatine as this stack together seems to have a very positive effect on strength.

    Ingredients
Check them out at the supplement facts link. It has BA which was the main reason for me wanting to use it.

    Pumps
I did not really notice too much for increased pump.

    Endurance/Focus
My focus and endurance were dramatically increased. I was able to at times knock off 20 minutes from previous workouts. At times my rests between exercises were only 45 seconds. if you are looking for a supplement to help with endurance IXC should be on your list.

    Strength
This is something that IXC claims it says it will Boost Explosive Muscular Strength. Well I say you can look through my log. There were a lot of PR's set actually I think that there was a new PR for just about every exercise.

    Cost
On this site it is $30 for a 30 day supply or you can purchase 90 days worth for $81. I enjoy products that will give at least one months worth in a bottle. This is what IXC does and it is very affordable.

    Overall
I highly reccomend this supplement. Below is what the bottle of IXC says it can do. I would also like to mention that Recent research is now showing carnosine levels continue to increase up to at least 12 weeks, which is why they recommend to continuously stay on IntraXCell for at least 3 months to optimize your carnosine levels. During my use of IXC I experienced no bloating.
I would say that the best result from me using IXC was they increase in endurance. It was dramatic, I was able to get longer workouts done in a shorter time. As well I found that there were times when I was finished working out and still had some energy so I would end up throwing in another set or two.

    IntraXCell Highlights:

Boosts Explosive Muscular Strength & Power Output-
    Increase Muscle Mass.
    Increase Anaerobic Muscular Endurance.
    Increase Aerobic Endurance.
Delay Muscular Fatigue - Train Harder & Longer
    Increase Muscle Fullness and Vascularity
    No Bloating or Water-Retention

Leg Extensions, Leg Press, Lunges, Vertical Leg Press.

Managed to do 21 sets, 6 sets, 5 sets, 5 sets, 5 sets, respectively

Strength and energy is maintaining as I am lower on carbs, I am able to fully contract/extend the muscle. This resulted in limping on the way home due to extreme amounts of blood and tearing in the muscle .

    Thursday August 16th

    Back

Deads, Lat Pull Downs, T-bar Rows, One arm dumbbell rows, seated rows

20 sets, 4 sets each exercise.

Great Workout, nice pump, lats hurting like crazy as is my lower back. I love how the IntraXCell is letting me get the full range I want when doing a rep. It's AWESOME!

Great Great Workout. Just awesome... however as I went back to the change room to take my IntraXCell?I realized I had only 4 tabs left!!! So I took them all to finish off a great workout and a great time on this supplement.

So what can I say about this product... It's awesome! I have been cutting all month (well except for my cheat days), and I am sure that IntraXCell has helped to maintain my strength throughout the weeks. I didn't really notice a strength INCREASE, but I was expecting a strength DECREASE, but that didn't happen, so that's amazing!

The pumps were spectacular! I was able to contract my muscles every time exactly the way I wanted. This to me is the most important part about any workout. I wouldn't care if I didn't lift a lot, but if I the contraction was great, then I would be COMPLETELY SATISFIED.

So if you have any other questions, please ask and sorry about the delay in posting. I won't do that in future logs?...

I would like to thank Athletic Edge Nutrition for giving me the opportunity to test this wonderful product as well as the sample packets of Steel Edge. Thanks again and I would be happy and want to test any other products that you come out with in the future...if you allow me!

It definitely worked for squats. There's definitely a part of me that wants to say it didn't work for my bench and deadlift... But I must honestly say that I don't really like to bench and deadlift that much. The combination of liking an exercise and performing it will increase the poundage on that lift. I really like squats so it went up. Did IXL help with it? I believe it did. But because I did not like to perform bench and deads, they did not go up. I didn't expect deads to go up at all or much because I performed them maybe once every 3 weeks I just listed it because lots of people wonder about the big 3. I continued to bench every week though, but it never really went up. I will talk more about my bench in the other topics though.

    • Increase Muscle Mass.
I put on a good 3-4 pounds and look a bit leaner. I'll have pics and other stats up tomorrow probably. I'm a recomper fo' lyfe. And though my bench press did not increase, it also did not decrease. And my chest is looking better than before! I don't really understand this phenomenom, but I ain't complaining

    • Increase Anaerobic Muscular Endurance.
Hm... not quite sure about this... I'll have to say N/A for now.

    • Increase Aerobic Endurance.
I have pretty long sessions... (1.5-2 hours) and y'know what, I do feel like I was able to work out longer and do more sets. You'd find me doing 4-7 sets on many exercises... Even heavy squatting!

    • Delay Muscular Fatigue - Train Harder & Longer
Yes. It does do that. For sure. No doubt about it. Could train chest longer. Could train back longer. Could train legs longer. Could train shoulders and arms longer.

    • Increase Muscle Fullness and Vascularity
I was taking citrulline malate and arginine as well (CM separate and arginine was in my creatine), and vascularity and muscle fullness have never been a problem for me. So I can't say if it did or did not do it's job here. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt cuz there were just some days I felt especially hyuuuuge lol

    • No Bloating or Water-Retention
      Definitely. None whatsoever.
    Not bad

I always like to do a little research on products and supplements before I jump on the band wagon and buy stuff. It help me undeerstand why I should want to take what Iam taking and how it work. I thought I would share some of the info I have gathered.

    Carnosine? What's That?

Carnosine is a dipeptide comprised of the amino acids, Histidine and Beta-Alanine. Naturally occurring in brain, cardiac muscle, kidney, and stomach and in large amounts in skeletal muscles, the past 100 years or so Carnosine has been widely studied for its effects on improved wound healing, antioxidant activity and its anti-aging properties.

Carnosine is the fact that it is found in high concentrations in skeletal muscles. Primarily the type IIx muscle fibres. These are the "fast-twitch" muscle fibres used in explosive movements like weight training and sprinting. In fact it has also been concluded that Carnosine levels are found in higher concentrations in athletes whose performance demands serious anaerobic output.

Just about anyone reading this knows that Nitric Oxide boosting supplements are hot topic. We also know that many supplement companies out there are just jamming Arginine into a tablet and charging you a grip. What you should know is that Carnosine is a natural substrate for the production of Nitric Oxide. In fact it is the true substrate for NOS (nitric oxide synthase) activity, which is the true enzyme that is responsible for generating Nitric Oxide.

Carnosine prevents muscular injuries and speeds up recovery times in sports. An explanation to this is that high-intensity performance causes oxidative stress in the muscles and this result in depleted Carnosine stores. The free radicals produced through high intensity muscular activity cause lipid peroxidation as well as carbonylation of proteins and phospholipids.

So Where Do Beta-Alanine fit in?

When it comes to improving your high-intensity performance, the supplements that first come to my mind are BCAA's, creatine. And some of you may think of nitric oxide.

Beta-alanine is a relative newcomer, but I feel its name need to be know to all athlets.
Beta-alanine appears to hold such great promise because of its role in muscle tissue, specifically in its ability to reduce lactic acid buildup. An increased level of lactic acid--and the burn associated with it--is often the limiting factor for the number of sets and reps you can ultimately perform. Using beta-alanine may help you crash through pain thresholds that previously limited your lifting endurance.

In muscle, beta-alanine bonds to the amino acid histidine to form the dipeptide known as carnosine, which we've mentioned numerous times in FLEX. Carnosine plays an important role in delaying the negative effects caused by hydrogen ions that accumulate in muscle when you push your workouts to the edge.
When most people think of muscle fatigue due to high-intensity exercise, lactic acid usually comes to mind as the culprit. Briefly, lactic acid dissociates to form lactate and hydrogen ions. These hydrogen ions cause muscle pH to decrease and the burning sensation to set in.

Even if you're man enough to push past the burn, hydrogen ions can interfere with contractile units. So, no matter how high your tolerance for pain, these ions accumulate in your muscles, ultimately compromising your performance. Supplementing with beta-alanine or carnosine can help moderate this outcome.

A study showing that supplementation with beta-alanine could improve exercise performance was presented at the American College of Sports Medicine annual conference in 2003.

The scientists wanted to see if beta-alanine, used with creatine monohydrate, had any beneficial synergistic effects over creatine alone. The results were positive--beta-alanine did indeed play a significant role in improving performance. The subjects receiving beta-alanine and creatine produced more power during the first minute of an all-out cycle test than the creatine-only group.

Other research indicates that beta-alanine increases lactate threshold, improves the ability to sustain maximal power during high-intensity exercise and decreases neuromuscular fatigue.

Consequently, anyone who participates in exercise where lactic acid accumulation is often the limiting factor stands to benefit from beta-alanine. In the gym, that could translate into more reps with a given weight.

In addition, research demonstrates that muscles with higher levels of carnosine are able to contract with greater force, meaning they are stronger. So, beta-alanine (or carnosine) is ultimately a double-duty supplement--as an aid to strength and also allowing for more reps before muscles succumb to fatigue. Thus, it's a solid supplement for both strength and muscle gains

Carnosine holds great promise as a 100% natural and valuable performance enhancing compound for basically any athlete, especially those who train with high intensity.
Boxers, swimmers, sprinters, cyclists and just about any athlete will benefit from increased Carnosine concentrations and the explosive power and recovery and Nitric Oxide potentiating properties that it produces.

Now that we understand IXL, lets look at how accurate the claims are.

Boost Explosive Muscular Strength and Endurance, Forcing Lean Muscle Gains.

I rate that statement 10/10. I did find a boost in my strenght. as you can see from my log weight and reps increased on all my excercises.

Increase Intracellular Carnosine Levels and Fight Muscular Fatigue & Metabolic Acidosis.

From the data I have gathered, including the effects it I recieved from IXL I rate that statement as 10/10

    Extreme Muscle Fullness and Vascularity.

10/10. Vascularity definelty improved and was present for the whole log.

Naturally Boost the Power Antioxidant Glutathione and Fight Cellular Fatigue History. Is About To Be Made Once Again!

Again from the data I have gathered I would have to agree, history will be once again made. 10/10

    Final Thoughts

I was impressed with the product and how it stood up to the claims. I really feel this is one spectacular product. I will continue to use this product for 2 more months then cycle off for about 4 weeks then ill be back on for 3 months. I feel this product will be beneficial to thoes cutting or bulking.

Also just for the record, I was fighting a cold for 2.5 weeks of my log and I still managed to push out personal records just about everyday. I can't wait to see the true potential of IXl when Im not sick.

Boost Explosive Muscular Strength and Endurance, Forcing Lean Muscle Gains.

    Rating : 9 out of 10

It definitely boosted my strength. My overall strength has gone up through the roof..even dealing with a shoulder injury.I gained 4lbs on this log! Which was my log goal.

Attributes Increase Intracellular Carnosine Levels and Fight Muscular Fatigue.

    Rating : 8 out of 10

After performing 1 exercise, I could move onto another pretty quickly without heavy breathing. My rest periods got shorter..they went from 3mins at the begining of the log..to 2-2 1/2 mins at the end.

Attributes Extreme Muscle Fullness and Vascularity.

    Rating : 10 out of 10.

Deffinitly there....o man the pumps were CRAZY good! Some days i could barely flex the muscle i was working...it was great.

    Conclusion

I am giving IntraXCell an 8 overall rating since this is the first time I ever tried a supplement with Beta-A in it. I can't make a comparison with other BA supplements..yet. The results were quite fast for me...it only took about a week for me to get the full benefits of the BA.

Thanks all you guys for visiting my log..and contributing your post i appreciate it

When I lift I focus on form, feeling every rep, and getting the burn. The weight is always secondary to me. So naturally I do not increase the weights alot, the increases I made this month were a welcome change.

    Size- 7/10
For only 30 days I wasnt expecting to gain much size, no real noticable size differences, I definitly didnt get any smaller though.

    Muscle endurance- 10/10
This is were I noticed the most, reps were up for a lot of exercises with full sets added to others. Total volume was up all month.

    Muscle Fullness and Vascularity- 6/10
No real improvments here, I did not notice any improved vascularity at all.

    Value- 8/10
If you go with one container it will cost you about a $1 a day. not bad. I would suggest everyone go with the 3 bottle pack that bb.com offers for $80. You will notice the strength increases after about 2 weeks and I beleive that if you stay on it for the whole 90 days you will start to get improved muscle gains.

    Overall- 8/10
Strength and endurance were great, I really liked the supp. Thanks again to AEN

I must first say that I REALLY enjoyed this product stack. SteelEdge certainly gave me an excellent boost of energy, intensity, endurance and all the necessary drive to push heavier weights in the gym. No matter if my workouts were late, early or how tired I was they rocked after slamming that stuff back. NICE WORK!

    My Results

Bodyweight: 175 (up 8 lbs in 4 weeks!!!)
Waist: 30" (up 1") - not too shabby

I couldn't be happier with these results

I give SteelEdge a 5 out of 5 based on effects alone. BUT factoring in the PRICE here at **, I would lower it to a 4 out of 5.

IntraXCell is really hard to evaluate. I felt my endurance and workouts improve about the 2-3 week range, but it is really difficult to determine the causes due to other variables. I certainly felt a small boost, but it is hard to isolate the true benefits of this product relative to other products. I would rank the product a 3.5 to 4 for these reasons factoring in cost as well.

THANKS VERY MUCH TO ATHLETIC EDGE for enabling me to test these products!!

Right from the very first 'serving', the tingly sensation I had heard so much about was there... but what else was there? Increased endurance, fibre-tearing reps, exceeded my previous personal best weight on tricep/bicep exercises, and my focus was enhanced as well... (placebo?)

I can honestly say that this product exceeded my expectations, and would reccomend it to anyone who has hit a plateau

Here is the list to the log http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...#post101283301

Well I was on this journey for about 40 days and Here are my results....added 5 pounds with no considerable body fat gain and also increased every core lift from 5 - 30 pounds (deadlifts)

Strength - 9 out of 10. Great results and after the IntraXcell kicked in this attribute seemed to get a lot better. Like I noted above, my core lifts (bench, deads, squats (before hurting my knee), rows, curls, and skullcrushers.

Endurance - 10 out of 10. This is the first time I have ever used a strictly BA product and this is where it shined. My workouts became such a breeze I had to change them up to give me more of a challenge.

Focus - 8 out of 10. Though I was focused at the gym, I am usually in the zone with my Ipod. This helped some but I also take caffeine and PreWO supplements that help in this area. I won't deny it helped though.

Vascularity - 8.5 out of 10. Again I use a PreWO supplement and already get great pumps and vascularity but this product seemed to make them last a ton longer. Even on off days I seemed to be pumped. During the log I even received several comments from lifters about this attribute.

Recovery - 10 out of 10. IntraXcell and IntrAbolic both shined in this department and helped me recover from my huge workouts. I kept my bulking diet tight and kept feeding my muscles and these products did the rest. I am very pleased in this department.

Final Results - 9 out of 10. This is a must buy for anyone considering these types of products. I loved doing this log and I want to thank AEN for all the help along the way and everyone that followed the log

I am writing a review of this product as i have a few other projects going on in 2008, but these will also include the IntrAbolic and the IntraXcell and possibly the Steel Edge.

Well where do i start with this one......
I knew this product was going to be good as i have had good results from the IntraXcell and the Steel Edge but i didn't think it was going to be as good as it is.

To start with however the taste to me was a little bitter and too good. I experimented a little with different amounts of water and scoop sizes and once i got this to my liking i really started to enjoy the flavour and now it is very refreshing through the workouts.

Throughout the couple of months of using the IntrAbolic my workouts have improved each and everytime and started to hit PB again. My stamina, endurance and overall strength increased quite dramatically over this time too. My Recovery times decreased and so felt as though i could hit the gym harder everytime.
I did however feel that the DOM's felt deeper within the muscle after the workouts and put this down to the IntrAbolic allowing me to push my self more throughout the workouts and so work the muscles harder. This been said however even though they felt deeper and a little more sore they only felt like this for the same length of time as i was before using the IntrAbolic, So it must have helped with recovery to get me back the same even though the DOM's where deeper.

I only used this product for Resistance training but i am going to start and use it for Cardio as well in the New Year but only use half a scoop for this instead of the full one.

My overall view of the IntrAbolic is Excellent and the best Intra workout supplement i have used so far. It is now part of the Family and will be for a long time i'm sure.
On it's own it is an excellent product but when this is stacked with the IntraXcell and then the Steel Edge popping in from time to time there isn't a lot out there to rival it.
I will be trying out a few different additions to the stack just to find my 'Ultimate Stack'

Overall Rating of IntrAbolic - 10/10

Approximately 2 ~ 3 weeks prior to this IntrAStack log, I started to train weights again. It was hard coming back from injury. There was no sweat, no kick, no muscle "feel" & lack of motivation to go to gym. I have to drag myself to lift iron. Each step & each rep felt so discouraging. I swear I wanted to give up lifting iron all together.

With the baby coming, I want to set examples to him. I can?t be a couch potatoes flipping through TV channels all the time. He?s going to learn that a fit body is priceless in any given day. And most of importantly, I cannot pass out in front of my kid whilst chasing him around.

The injury delivered several blows to my cardio & muscle building mechanism. These are the ones I could think of. A 50 ~ 60% strength loss, fat gain, appetite loss, stamina loss, just to name a few.

In comes the anabolic nurses (see picture above), I was told they stimulate muscle growth, fight muscle breakdown, build stamina by reducing H+, enhances gym performance, bring mental focus, etc.

Now that?s good thing and I did a log on them. The point of the log is to ease myself into training again, recover stamina, enhance gym training endurance and reduce some bodyfat + bodyweight.

    Mental Focus
    10/10

It wasn't easy for me to go back to gym. Once I started that SteelEdge and IntrABolic, you almost zoned out. You just want to complete the preplan training of the day. I almost never think of tiredness, yawning except on occasions during the leg days (typically sundays) which is very much due to lack of air circulation in the gym.

From injury to do trisets compounded with 2 bodyparts (6 sets at a go), that really requires a lot of focus and never give up attitude. I rate this combo a 10 for this aspect.

    Endurance/Recovery
    10/10

This is a major plus point for IntrABolic. Since I do a lot of tri-sets compounded with 2 different bodyparts back-to-back, a lot of endurance is required. I am reducing my rest count to boost my stamina for the majority portion of this log. Without some kind of endurance/ recovery enhancement, I wouldn't have lasted this log. The quick recovery is very much apparent with the lack of lactic acid.

    Stamina Building
    10/10

Stamina is so much better after merely 1 week of training and cardio. The effect is more pronounced during my cardio & play days. I could see myself covering longer distance, shorter rest time, more laps, more sets of play within a preset timing.

    Strength
    8/10

Perhaps with muscle endurance & recovery, you almost wanted to test your very next strength level. I didn't measure the strength consistently. It is not the point of this log.

    Fat Loss
    8/10

I do want to lose some bodyweight and fat. Not a key measure of this log, however. I let the training and eating take its course. So I lost some 5 ~ 6lbs pounds during the log. My shirts & pants are looser most definitely. My glutes don't feel as heavy as before. LMAO!!! HAHAHAAHA!!!! Without a big glutes, I couldn't be the rump shaker no more. LMAO!!! HAHAHAHA!!!!

    Muscle Growth
    7/10

A little surprising to me. Not a major point in this log because I was planning to grow some serious mass. But I have some stretch marks most notably on my biceps. It would have been more visible if I am a fair white chicken!

    Taste
    8/10

I rated it at 8 because it is better than purple draank. I have bad experience with some purple draank due to the need to soak the bottle caps overnight.

This is to remove the purple draank smell left on the cap. Even after I washed the cap, it still have that weird stink smell.

The other thing is this IntrABolic is too sweet for my liking. I have diluted it with at least 1.2lit water every time. I prefer SteelEdge taste.

    Overall
    9.5/10

You found me one happy user....................................

Special Thank you to AEN & Crew for giving me positive encouragements during my injury. You guys introduced me to IntrABolic and found a happy user in the end.

It's tough for AEN & Crew to tolerate my bull****s all the time. Not only myself but also my schizo other half Mr. Froggy. He might have posted things that don't meet everybody's eyes. For that, I salute you with a glass of SteelEdge & Anabolic IntrApple Juice.

The intrabolic smells and tastes great. it mixes easly and drinks easily. the first couple of day on this stack in noticed a prickling sensation but it was very mild and only lasted for a few minutes for just the first couple of days. after that the only side that i have was GREAT workouts!! I went up 25 lbs on my max bench, 30 lbs on dead lift, 10 lbs on squat (i have a bad knee so this was a great gain for me). The biggest thing with this stack was the increased endurance that i noticed. i could do more exercises with less wait time inbetween reps. i could litterly convert my 1 1/2 hour work out into about 40 mins if i wanted. instead i just did more exercises for those muscles. my recovery time was better, after a hard day of working out i would not feel as sore as normal. one other tester noticed that he had some temp problems where he would heat up when doing cardio. i did not notice this at all i was even taking me temp several times through the day and if you keep looking at my log i will add a post ina bout a week to tell you if anything changed with my temp. overall i really liked this stack and think that it would have some great results if stacked with some creatine mono and a t booster. i think that you could pack on some serious slabs of muscle if stacked well. i really liked this product and would tell others to give it a try it suprised me and i think that after my sizeagen log i will get another intraStack and add some mono and a t booster and give it another whirl. i deffenatly log that for everybody so that you can see the real benefits from this product.

thanks again Athletic Edge Nutrition for giving me be chance to do this log i have a great time.

    What's In It?

The World's First Beta-Alanine, Carnosine Boosting Formula in convenient capsule form

Until now, creatine, with numerous research studies to support its effectiveness, was the leading supplement for improving exercise and muscular performance. Since creatine made its explosion into the sports nutrition world in the early nineties, our understanding of exercise physiology and sports nutrition has evolved exponentially. Recent research is giving rise to another supplement breakthrough?one that will change the direction of the industry like creatine did so many years ago. The research supported, IntraXCell* is THE next breakthrough supplement for increasing explosive strength, muscle mass and endurance.

    IntraXCell Highlights:

*Boosts Explosive Muscular Strength & Power Output
    *Increase Muscle Mass
    *Increase Anaerobic Muscular Endurance
    *Increase Aerobic Endurance
*Delay Muscular Fatigue - Train Harder & Longer
    *Increase Muscle Fullness and Vascularity
    *No Bloating or Water-Retention

How do the other key ingredients in IntraXCell's formula work with the beta-alanine content and support intracellular carnosine levels?

One of carnosine's attributes beyond stabilizing muscular pH, is its ability to act as an intracellular antioxidant that can fight cellular fatigue. Knowing these secondary benefits of carnosine, we have combined other ingredients with beta-alanine that have the ability to boost yet another powerful intracellular antioxidant called glutathione. At the same time, the IntraXCell formula can directly work with carnosine's antioxidant ability.

    1. N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) - NAC increases glutathione levels inside the cell which is a power antioxidant that fights cellular fatigue. Interestingly beta-alanine has now been shown to increase the synthesis of glutathione by increasing the availability of its precursor cysteine. Beta-Alanine and NAC work perfectly together.

    2. Vitamin E Vitamin E has been shown to increase carnosine levels more than carnsoine alone. Carnosine has been shown to increases Vitamin E antioxidant ability. These two operate hand in hand.

    3. Alpha-Lipoic-Acid(ALA) ALA is a highly versatile antioxidant that boosts the above other two antioxidants, vitamin E and the end result of NAC supplementation,(increased glutathione levels).

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------
Strength/Recovery/Endurance/Pumps- 9.5/10 I am completely satisfied with the recovery and endurance this has given me. With the extra endurance this gives I am able to push out more reps and workout harder then ever before thus helping me get quicker strength gains. Something I've noticed while using this is the MMC it allows me to get, as I perform each rep the "pump" so to speak is small and milk yet so perfect and each extra rep so painless (no burn) that I am able to feel the contraction of the muscles (legs especially) like never before, it is amazing and a feeling which is hard to describe. All I can say is my endurance and recovery is at the best it has ever been.

Ingredients- 10/10- This company put quality ingredients that work into this product and you can be asured of that as they test all ingredients and have strict quality control

Cost- 9/10- Now many may be turned off by the price over lets say bulk BA but lets be fair here, they pretty much take the extra step to test all of the ingredients and adhere to strict quality control , and on top of that your getting more then just BA with this product. I really can't hit them and deduct too many points on the price, while it is "high" so to speak compared to bulk they are putting out 100% quality product.

Side Effects- 10/10 I?m just going to put this out here, I did not and still do not get any tingles from this product (or any BA) IDK why even on a completely empty stomach first thing in the morning. I guess that can be a good thing for those who don't like the tingles.

    Overall- 9.7/10

    Final Thoughts:

As mentioned quite a few times since the start of using Intraxcell in my workout journal, I have frequently brought up the fact that my workouts have been improving a fair amount as time is progressing with this product. I am convinced that the quality and extra ingredients in IntraXcell are helping me endure each session and push out that extra rep and recover much faster between sets. AEN is pretty much top of the line quality and they have high standards with products being produced in a cGMP Facility which pretty much guarantees pure ingredients. This company has researched their product and posts just an incredible amount of solid research into the products that they make and the ingredients. I really like the addition of NAC in IntraXcell and let us not forget the other extras in IntraXcell and I think that is another reason this is beating the bulk BA in terms of results.

In case you are not aware of NAC here is just a little bit of highlight info on it taken from

    1: J Appl Physiol. 2008 Mar;104(3):853-60. Epub 2007 Nov 15. Links
Muscle-derived ROS and thiol regulation in muscle fatigue. Ferreira LF, Reid MB.
Dept. of Physiology, Univ. of Kentucky, 800 Rose St., Rm. MS509, Lexington, KY 40536-0298. michael.reid@uky.edu).

N-acetylcysteine (NAC), a drug that supports glutathione synthesis, has been shown to lessen oxidation of cellular constituents and delay muscle fatigue. In humans, NAC pretreatment improves performance of limb and respiratory muscles during fatigue protocols and extends time to task failure during volitional exercise.

Now I was previously just using Bulk BA by Prima Force everyday, along with my usual creatine and Pre Workout on WO Days and honestly a workout while I have been using IntraXcell is going a whole lot smoother then with the bulk BA I am completely sure. I am having some of the best workouts ever right now hitting PR for reps just about every week and as a result have been increasing weight on the bar as I can now handle the load for more reps.

With everything that has been said, this is a product made by a solid company, your getting what you pay for and that is 100% assured quality. I Would recommend this product to anyone who is serious about exercise and wants better endurance and better workouts overall.

Today was my last day on the IntraXcell, IntrAbolic stack. Great day again. I'm not just saying this to butter up to the company or the reps; this stack really was great and I certainly noticed increased endurance and strength. Primarily, my rep count went through the roof. Being a hard gainer everything seem to tougher, not just gaining weight, but pushing weight as well. Considering I was bulking I suppose some the performance increase could be contributed to such a surplus of calories and I mean up until I started using the stack I noticed I was making progress but I've made significantly more progress over the one month that I used these products. Overall I really enjoyed these products, simple, taste good, effective...that's all that matters. Over the month one the stack I have gained 7lbs and 1.2 % BF. Needless to say I am ex tactic! Granted there was an increase in bf percentage so my gains weren't purely muscle but for a hard gainer like me its so rewarding to see the scale jump up like that, it really is.

Well the stack is done, log is done, I am sad there is no more left!

I would just like to thank everyone at AEN and especially Sebastian for hooking me up after he had closed his offer on *********.net.
    Just getting started

    Ingredient Profile 10/10
    IntrAbolic
    - EXCELLENT profile. The 5g of Leucine makes the L, R, V, K, F, T, I, H and M blend even more of a winner. And 3.2g of Beta-alanine, definitely a healthy amount (especially stacked with ICX)
IntraXCell - 2g of Beta-alanine. Perfect for a 4g dose of BA on off days, and getting >5g BA on training days. Definitely amounts proven to be effective.

    Claims met? 9.5/10
    IntrAbolic
    - I gained size and strength over stack's use, so I definitely got some muscle growth, and limited breakdown. I was able to reach new PRs and continue to push myself hard in the gym. I did notice increased vascularity in the gym, but went away when cold. As for fullness, I do look fuller IMO and do not fit into my one pair of jeans so well, or a few Tshirts I recovered quickly, as I wasn't sore much after each workout and was able to perform at nearly full potential the next workout. I could also be active lateron in the day which is a bonus for sure. And yes, Mixes like a dream!
IntraXCell - I gained strength as well as size, and could push myself more in the gym, so I definitely saw results there. I did notice a gut bloat somewhat, but it could be from diet. Mentioned other results seen above. Definitely lived up to its claims IMO.

    Taste 9.5/10
I LOVED it. The green apple flavor was great and it wasn't over sweet or sour. Just right and a great beverage I would enjoy at any time of day! One of the best tasting supps I've came across.

    Value/Price 8.5/10
The stack will run you back a little bit of change, but not too much. First and foremost a good clean stack that can help me make the gains I made in mass and strength if definitely a keeper if it's worth it. The IntrAbolic's label says 20 servings, but I only got 16.5 out of it, so just unlucky. It happens, but that's a few servings off the label claim though. Even so, it's a decent price for a great stack.

    Overall 9.375/10
    DAMN good products/stack

I have used these before but not on a long term basis. The results from the shorter run where great so i ran it longer term to see how much better this stack could get. What can i say.......................

    THIS STACK IS AWESOME !

I started to see results in the gym within the first couple of weeks as far as endurance and strength increases. This only improved on each and every workout. I actually started to use the IntrAbolic for Cardio sessions too and this enhanced my progress even further.
My recovery was excellent and was ready for another workout very quickly and never had to drag my ass to gym. I was always up for it and ready to go even after coming off my night shift workoing.

As for prolonged use of the IntraStack, this was more impressive to me.
At around the 6-8 week mark i saw definate improvements in my body composition and lowered BF. 'The Mirror never lies'....
My strength and endurance only got better and better too with the more i was on the stack. This in total made for some very intense and focused workouts and so allowed me to really push myself the extra mile.... so to speak....

I finished off at 170lb in weight and a fall in BF% to 16.8%. My weight is only up by 2lb on when i started but has been on a more consistant basis instead of fluctuations. Also with the BF% down from 17.5% to 16.8% i probably gained more on the lean mass side. My body shape changed throughout and photo's through the log can be seen.

This is definatley a STACK that ALL should be considering to add to there regimes as it will really enhance what you have already got in strength/endurance and body shape.
This is now at the center of my supplement regime and i think it will be for a long time to come. I will however be laying off the IXL for a 4 week break before starting on it again for another 3 months at least.

IntraStack Verdict - An Awesome 10/10 without question.

That is all for now folks and i will be doing some other logs in the near future so please look out for them.........

    Ingredients/Profile - (10/10)

Looking at the profile alone should make someone want to buy it. First, i'll go over Intrabolic. With Whey Protein Hydrolysates, 5g Leucine, 3.2g Beta-Alanine, a great amount of Free-form amino acids and Minerals, what more could you ask for. This is hand's down one of the best intra-workout profiles I have EVER seen. Now let's take a look at IntraXCell. It has a sufficient dose of BA (2g), NAC, and Alpha Lipoic Acid. Just take 1 serving (3 caps) and your good to go

    Value/Price - (10/10)

I've seen alot of people complain about the price of these products. What there not seeing is that AEN uses the highest quality ingredients possible, and still offers them at a reasonable price. Sure something like Xtend is cheaper, but does it's profile compare to Intrabolic, I think not! Take a quick glance at the profile of both products and tell me there not worth it

Anyone who uses Beta-Alanine for the first time will experience "the tingles". I've used several BA products over the past year or so and only had the tingles on a couple occassions. My first few doses of Intrabolic gave me tingles like I have never felt before. I felt them in my arms, calves, and hands. The effect was far more noticeable than what I have experienced from other products. This tells you something about the quality of AEN's products

    Taste - (9/10)

It took me a couple of days to get the taste just right on "Fresh Green Apple". I've found that 16oz of water is the sweet spot. It's not too watered down, but not too strong either. It really does taste and smell like Green Apples, which was a surprise to me. I have never tasted a "good" intra-workout supplement before (besides Xtend). Im giving this a 9 out of 10 because it could be a little bit more sweet, in my opinion. Definitely a refreshing taste though!

    Energy/Endurance - (10/10)

Easily the greatest thing about the IntraStack. My energy and endurance throughout the past 4 weeks has never been greater. I've been decreasing my calories every 2 or so weeks, cycling my carbs, and dropping weight by the week. You would think that being on a cut would make your workouts "dull" due to the lack of energy from carbs/calories. With the IntraStack, I never had this problem. There were days that I took in less than 100 carbs, yet I had a TON of energy and endurance throughout my training and cardio session

The majority of my training revolves around Supersets. Usually, I have to rest around 2 minutes between each superset to feel fully recovered and ready to hit the weights again. Throughout the past couple of weeks, I have been able to keep my rest periods to 1 minute or less and still have enough energy/strength to get good sets in. Im never tired during training, and surprisingly still have energy after my workout to do cardio. There were days that I hit the weights for 60-75 minutes and was able to run 2-3 miles afterwards with ease!

The greatest part about it is that it only gets better by the workout. I was pleased with the increased endurance after the first couple workouts, but it's been even better as of lately! I couldn't imagine how good your endurance would be if you cycled Intrabolic/IntraXCell for months at a time I'll be able to see though due to the fact that 2 tubs of Citrus Intrabolic are on the way

    Strength/Pumps - (10/10)

After losing 5 pounds in 4 weeks you would think my strength would suffer. Will guess what, it didn't Over the past couple weeks I have been able to increase the number of reps on several exercises. Being able to do this on a cut was truly surprising to me. I'd like to see what kind of gains would be seen on a bulk

As far as pumps goes, it was nothing out of the ordinary. Considering Intrabolic is not made for a "pump", im not dissapointed. There were several occasions that I would feel a full body pump during a workout. The extra endurance you receive from these products helps you workout at a higher intensity, therefore giving you better/increased pumps

    Would I recommend the "IntraStack"?

HELL YES I would! The IntraStack has far exceeded my expectations and has given "intra-workout" supplementation a new meaning. AEN makes top quality products and offers them at an affordable price. Whether your trying to cut, bulk, or recomp, the IntraStack would make for a great addition. The increased endurance will give you some of the best workouts and cardio sessions you will EVER experience. At least try the products and see what you think. They will not disappoint

I just wanna thank the guys over at AEN for giving me the oppurtunity to log with awesome stack.

    IntrAbolic - Fresh Green Apple

    Cyberstore Link
    http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/ae/intrabolic.html

    Taste: 7.5/10
The first couple of times I used this flavor I really didn't like it. But I used more water after the first couple of times and made sure it was cold. The flavor really grew on me. I really began to enjoy sipping on this flavor throughout my workout. I'm not the biggest fan of apple flavorings but this was better then expected.

    Mixability: 9/10
I usually would mix a serving of IntrAbolic with about 32 oz. of water. A few shakes of the bottle and letting it sit for a minute or two let all of the powder mix well. Every once in a while there would be a clump or two but nothing major.

    Effectiveness: 9/10
This product is great! Throughout the majority of this log I never used a stim before a workout, maybe a cup of coffee here or there, but that was it. I really wanted to put this to test. Sometimes going into my workout I would be sluggish and have little motivation. But after I started sipping on IntrAbolic I would just get the desire to lift more and push my limits. IntrAbolic made me never wanna leave the gym!

    Overall: 8.5/10
The flavor wasn't the best but it wasn't bad either. This is a very good overall product. The price per serving is something that may come into play when purchasing a product like this. But to be honest if you are looking to go off of stims for a while it is well worth the money. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a great Intraworkout supplement.

    IntraXCell

    Cyberstore Link
    http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/ae/intra.html

    Taste: N/A - it's a pill

    Mixability: N/A - it's a pill

    Effectiveness and Overall: 9/10
Sometimes it's hard to judge the effectiveness of a product like this because unlike IntrAbolic you aren't drinking it during a workout or drinking it PWO or something. But I have honestly seen great results with IntraXCell. Along with IntrAbolic they worked great together as a non-stim combo. But after I finished off my IntrAbolic I continued taking IntraXCell pre and post WO per the directions on the bottle. I have still felt energized throughout my workouts and have felt many of the same benefits as I did while taking both. One thing that I really like about IntraXCell is that if I took my PWO dose on the way to work after the gym or something it gave me that extra kick in the ass to stay energized and focused throughout the day.

    Stack Review - 8.5/10
As I said before the flavor could be improved but isn't bad for a supplement. The stack may be on the pricier side for some but if you are going for a non-stim stack then it is well worth the money. Beta-Alanine is deffinatly a great component to this stack and these two products together give you a full serving of BA everyday! If you are looking to push the limits in the gym and break through endurance barriers without the use of a stim, then this stack is for you! By themselves they are awesome but together they are even better. I would deffinatly consider purchasing the stack in the future.

FIRST - i'd like to say THANKS to AEN and also sorry...this hasn't been the best log i've ever done...for some reason i haven't been as focused or as motivated as usual...so things weren't as good as the should be...so...sorry...

    DOSING
TRAINING days - one dose(24g) of Intrabolic during the workout...and one dose(3 caps) of IntraXcell post
NON-TRAINING days - 2 doses of IntraXcell spread out throughout the day

    Overall Experience
well....these are some good products...i didn't really notice much...but pretty much on day 13 it started kicking in...and i really started feeling it...and it got better each day till the end of this log...

i really don't like doing the whole number thing(4/10 type of stuff)...i don't like quantifying subjective data...so here goes
FOCUS - i did not notice any change in my focus
PUMP - i got some of the best pumps i've had in a while during this log. especially the last week or so...and especially the chest which is a pretty difficult area for me to stimulate...i think the pump comes from the increased endurance allowing me to push out a few extra reps
ENDURANCE - THIS is where this stuff shines...awesome endurance...extra reps on every set when i thought i was gonna fail...
STRENGTH - its difficult to seperate this from endurance...i didn't notice much of an increase in pure strength...the 1-3 rep range...but higher up is where the increases came
TASTE - this stuff takes a little to get used to...BUT once you do its good...but it really has to be cold...or it has a bit of a melon'ish taste that i don't enjoy
FORMULA - pretty awesome...pretty awesome...i am picky though...so i would say that i'd like a little citruline malate in it...but other than that...its great...

and that's it for me...thanks for everyone's support and thanks for following along...

    Chest: 40.5"---->40.5"(no change)
    Shoulders: 47.875"---->47.875"(no change)
    Waist: 31.5625"---->31.375"(-.1875")

    Thighs: 23.375"---->23.5"(+.125)
    Forearms: 13.25"---->13.375"(+.125")
*I am really happy to see that all my hard work both in the gym and on the diet have payed off based on these measurements. As I stated early on in this log, doing a log again really ignited a whole new level of intensity and dedication. I only had one cheat meal the entirety of this log and that was a forced cheat because of family obligated parties for an entire day. I started off this log still cutting, but I decided early on that I didnt want to lose anymore weight and instead decided to instead to a slow lean bulk (almost a recomp type diet). Based on the numbers Im seeing, I would definitely say it worked as I was able to put on size in my legs and still go down slightly in waist size. Legs were an area that I sort of focused on since I had a slight lay off on them before this log started because of a knee injury, so Im sure muscle memory was partly in play on the gains I made there. Still, I really locked in on each leg day and was determined to work them as hard as I could, so Im happy to see improvements in them.

    Strength Gains

    Decline Dumbell Bench Press: 85lbs 4reps---->85lbs 7reps
    Bent Over Barbell Rows: 155lbs 8reps---->155lbs 9reps
    Upright Barbell Rows: 110lbs 7reps---->110lbs 8reps
    Squats: 275lbs 1rep---->305lbs 1rep
    Standing DB Curls: 45lbs 5reps---->45lbs 7reps
    Close Grip Bench Press: 195lbs 5reps---->195lbs 6reps
*So as you can see, strength gains were made and while they werent huge, they were pretty steady. The one big increase was on legs, but again, alot of that was muscle memory kicking in from the lay off I had on legs before this log started. Still, I was happy to see the strength gains I made, especially considering I was mostly doing a recomp/lean bulk without a major calorie surplus. Also, while I wasnt making huge increases in strength on this log, I was adding reps across sets which I fully believe (based on both this log and past experience) is do to beta alanine. I love this ingredient and my experience with it is that the endurance boost yields extra reps here and there, and allow you to push out extra reps on those second, third, and forth sets once the muscle is already starting to fatigue. Really, the diet I was on was tailored more towards physique improvement than strength improvement, so these numbers about meet my expectations.

IntraBolic Thoughts: First off, the reason AEN was looking for testers was to get feedback on the new improved apple flavor, so that is where I will start my commentary. Note that I have no experience with Intrabolic prior to this run, so I cannot compare this improvement to the original version. However, I definitely feel like AEN did an excellent job with the flavoring of this version. My first few servings were very pleasant and its definitely one of those flavors that grows on you the more you consume it. It isnt a sour apple taste that you typical get with supplements, but rather a straight up apple flavor. Definitely enjoyable and refreshing. While it isnt my favorite flavored supplement, i would put it in my top 5. Also note I was mixing it in 22oz of water which is slightly more than they typically recommend. Now on to the effects. This is definitely one of the better profiles of an intraworkout product out there. I honestly feel that outside of BCAAs, beta alanine is the best ingredient an intraworkout product can have (in case you cant tell, BA is one of if not my favorite ingredients for performance enhancment). Intrabolic has that covered in a hefty dose. Paired with IntraXcell its everything you need BA wise. The real novelty with this profile is the hydrolyzed whey protein, which is something you dont find in any other intraworkout products. AEN is definitely a company I respect because they base their products on research and make all their decisions based on science. In the gym, this is definitely one of the best intraworkouts available. One of the things I really like about it is that it discloses the amount of beta alanine so you know how much more you must supplement daily. Endurance was solid on this product, and once the beta alanine has boosted carnosine levels, increased performance numbers are there to be had by all in the gym. Also, recovery wise, this stuff is pretty damn good. With the exception of leg days (which I have never found a product that can prevent DOMS after an intense leg day) or when re-introducing an excercise that hadnt been performed in awhile, DOMS were very minimal during this log. This was really nice during the first week and a half when I was still cutting because as we all know, DOMS increase as carbs and calories go down. Overall, this is a very uniquely formulated product that I would recommend to someone looking to try something that takes a different approach to intraworkout supplementation. AEN is a stand up, respectable company with effective research based products that I have no problem supporting.

IntraXcell Thoughts: In case I havent made it obvious yet, beta alanine is one of my favorite supplement ingredients. AEN is the leader in this ingredient and provides a ton of research and information regarding it. I fully believe without AEN this ingredient wouldnt have gotten the publicity and recognition it now has in the industry. I had always used bulk beta alanine in the past to reach whatever I wasnt getting through my other supplements. However, when i run out of my current bulk stash, I plan to switch over to IntraXcell. My reasoning is as follows. First, I like to support the research that AEN has put out and the wealth of information they provide about this ingredient. I have no problem spending a little bit more in support of a company providing this type of awareness. Second, IntraXcell includes more then just beta alanine and like all of their supplements, each ingredient was selected based on the research. Finally, I will only need to take 1 serving per day (except off days) because of my religious use of Core ABC, so cost wont be a problem. Definitely a product I recommend to anyone not taking beta alanine or just looking to top off a full days dosage not met by their other supplements.

Thoughts on Products as a Stack: Pretty obvious here, stacking these products together allows you to exceed/reach your full daily beta alanine needs. Beta alanine is an awesome ingredient and IntraXcell is the best straight beta alanine centered product on the market. Obviously these products stack extremely well together.

Random Thoughts: The only thing I was disappointed with during this log is that my Intrabolic tub was 2 servings short. First, be sure to measure out each serving because the scoop is too large for a serving size. When filled completely it was almost 10 grams too much. This is something I recommend with every product as companies are forced to pick the best matched scoop size for their product, but they very often do not match up perfectly. Its just not an option for them as they are forced to pick the closest match from presized scoops and dont get to custom make them for their product. As a result, I measured out each and every serving to exactly 24 grams. Now considering I was given these products to log, I really cant complain. However, If I had spent my hard earned money on this (and lets be honest, it isnt cheap) I would be pretty upset about this. In no way does this take away from AEN as Im sure this was just a singular incident as no one else has mentioned this and as I said, I believe AEN is one of the most standup companies out there and I have the utmost respect for them. I just felt this is something I should mention.

The Wrap Up: All around I was very happy with the way this log went. Diet and training were spot on throughout. I had been out of the logging game for awhile, but getting back into it really put my training and commitment on an entirely different level. The combination of this log and the OBF competition I am doing in the supp misc has been incredibly motivating. I want to sincerely thank AEN for the opporutnity and everyone who followed along, commented, and encouraged me through the process. Special thanks to Showtime, WannaGetLean, and BigLa for stopping by consistently and pushing me. I really appreciate the kind words. They mean alot. For anyone who is currently considering the IntraStack, its definitely good stuff.

*I realize the review is long, but I wanted to give AEN the detail they deserve based on the opportunity they provided me. Enjoy the read

*Progress pictures will be posted either later tonight or tomorrow

    Final thoughts…

    Some background
Due to my age, job nature, poor diet timing, poor appetite, weight control, family, etc reasons, I have not experienced muscle growth/strength increase for the last 3 years. Plus almost all my training aspects took a tumble i.e. my recovery/ strength/ fatigue delays/ exercise intensity/ endurance & focus.

My friend highlighted Intraxcell and SteelEdge to me with a promise that it could deliver results & boost the training aspects I was looking for. Many thanks to AEN for sponsoring this log.

    IntraXCell
As I have never taken any BA supplements before, it is a great experience to try something new. I enjoyed the prickling sensation it gave me & craved for it to come every single time. The sensation gradually subsided since mid way 3rd week ~ last week of my log.

The result is not dramatic but progress is slow & steady. I noticed the muscle fullness & strength increase from this product. Towards mid 2nd week of my log, my quads & body felt exploded/muscular fullness upon waking.

Almost all exercises I have done virtually has some degree of poundage increase, if not, increase in reps. On days when I didn’t have sufficient calories, my strength hold on steady. This is definitely a positive attribute.

    SteelEdge
I am a not flavor person so flavor rating is 7.

Heart rate, focus, concentration, energy & endurance were lifted in the gym. ½ scoop is enough for my workout but I prefer the 1 scoop split between preWO & during WO for endurance & recovery booster!

It is not the kind of jittery effect from thermogenics I took before. Just plain good clean energy. And the need to breathe during cardio is lesser degree. I felt my recovery has improved since the log.

What I truly like is it helps eliminate & boost a faster recovery from DOMS. This is the kind of product features I am looking for right now.

    Overall rating
    IntraXCell – 8 out of 10 Solid!
    SteelEdge - 9 out of 10 Awesome!

Well i do have to say for cutting and this only being my only "non staple" supp. i'm pretty impressed with some of my results. As for this being the next creatine i would have say it falls into the realm but this product really isnt for explosive muscle strength but really helps in the endurance part. Pumps were pretty good and this product really can help for distance runners or for long cardio sessions, i have to say i never really jumped on a bike for a few months and then to do a 50min cardio session with my Animal cap and sweatshirt on in the gym sweating my you know what off really did help alot.

I do have to say however this product does take a few weeks to fully kick in and i could tell you can still see better results the longer you take it (2-3months) so i wouldn't say this is a one month, one hit wonder but should be taken for longer periods of time but will be worth it. I can see this product to be a lower cost version of MAN bodyoctane.

As for side effects i would say its pretty negative effect free, i never really felt the tingle as you would with beta-alaine but i never did with similar products such as H-blocker. The only thing is that the pills smell pretty nast so make sure you have the cap on tight or you will wake up to a pretty nasty smelling dorm room the next morning

    here is the final weight

    start- roughtly 216lbs

    end-around 210lbs

Well this is pretty on task for keeping it around 1-1.5lbs lost per week but i could telll this was a good amount of water which takes me to the next thing that you wont feel bloated as you would with regular creatine. I'm still working on the slowly but surely cut and will contine with my hyperdrol and Mass FX log so feel free to drop by that which will be up hopefully tomorrow.

So all in all this product was pretty good, endurance was up with some cell volumization and my strenght was starting to creep up which i'm fine with when it comes to cutting. I would suggest IntraXCell and i would wish AEN the best of luck in its future ventures, this product is pretty good for the price.

    rating 8.5/10

I will be posting pics tomorrow as i killed the battery in my camera. Have a safe and happy new year everyone and thanks for all the support while doing this log!

I have to say im very pleased with the results I got from my bottle of IXL. I ran a log so check it out.

    http://www.forum.bodybuilding.com/sh...d.php?t=977425

Lets look at the IXL write up.

For a indepth FAQ please see the IntaXCell Thread:

    http://www.forum.bodybuilding.com/sh...d.php?t=890283

I always like to do a little research on products and supplements before I jump on the band wagon and buy stuff. It help me undeerstand why I should want to take what Iam taking and how it work. I thought I would share some of the info I have gathered.

Now that we understand IXL, lets look at how accurate the claims are.

    Quote:
    IntraXCell Is Scientifically Formulated To:

Boost Explosive Muscular Strength and Endurance, Forcing Lean Muscle Gains.
Increase Intracellular Carnosine Levels and Fight Muscular Fatigue & Metabolic Acidosis.
    Extreme Muscle Fullness and Vascularity.
Naturally Boost the Power Antioxidant Glutathione and Fight Cellular Fatigue.
History Is About To Be Made Once Again!

This is the best tasting supplement I have ever had! And it mixes no problem!
    Weight (Muscle) Gain - 8/10
I have not put on as much weight as I would have like to.. I would have to contribute it to my eating habits (calorie intake).
    Workout 'Enhancement' - 10/10
I have hit some good numbers while on this stack (strength has definitely gone up) and my recovery has been great between sets! I have gone longer into workouts then I have in awhile... I have also hit some PR's... Just overall very impressed in this section.
    Fullness 'Enhancements' - 7/10
I def. feel 'fuller' on off days.
'Delay of Muscle Fatigue' - 9/10
I def. have noticed that I can go longer and do more exercises.

If I left something out of this section let me know and I will gladly give my review.

All and All this stack has been Amazing... I would def. recommend it to anyone! It does everything it says it will and the company backs its products with research... Research on its own products! The second picture is kind of ****ty but IMO I can tell my arms/chest/traps have gotten a little bigger.. You can't tell by the picture but I have been told that my back has gotten broader. I will be continuing with this stack for a while...

    10 - The BEST I have had
    Taste of IntrAbolic - 7/10
I had the flavor Citrus Ice. Really good tasting, tasted liek waterd down orange juice. Gets kind of addicting after a while. I was mixing mine with 32oz of water tho.
    Weight (Muscle) Gain - 10/10
If you review my log, Im was constantly upping weight and upping reps. I got the flu during my log and bounced back and upped cardio at the end. Dropped about 4.5lbs and strength is up. Its a solid stack.
    Workout 'Enhancement' - 10/10
Definately makes you stronger. I would say beta alanine is a "more agressive" creatine. Noticable strength gains with no water retention!! Endurance was awesome on the stack.
    Fullness 'Enhancements' - 5/10
I usually feel kinda bloated on off days, thats my part because all I do is go to school, study, and eat.
'Delay of Muscle Fatigue' - 8/10
Seemed to take me about a week and a half to "kick in", as soon as I stopped getting tingly I noticed it working. Very impressed

Its a badass stack, only complaint is I wish I got to try it longer.

For all you Xtend and PW drinkers, give Intrabolic a shot. Only downfall of Intrabolic is its priced a little bit higher. Anyone who is looking for an increase in stamina or something extra, this is for them!!

IntraxCell and Intrabolic can be considered staples for beta alanine and BCAA users. No need to question them or look back, money well spent

Thanks Trans and AEN for giving me the oppertunity!!
Thanks to Bnat for helping my diet/ training routine
And thanks for everyone who followed!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sad to say my first bottle of IntrAbolic is gone. But my next one is on the way. Let me just break this stack done for you guys now, Ill try and piece together my workouts for the final week later.

Overall I didn't know what to expect from this stack. I figured the real goal for me in trying it was to combat muscle fatigue while training. But what I gained from the stack far exceeded my expectations.

My biggest surprise was the constant strength gains I made throught the month. It seemed as if my gains had kicked it into overdrive. I added something like 30lbs on my preacher curls, for max reps to. This alone speaks volumes. Honestly every exercise I preformed I was able to up the weight significantly during this run, and that was the biggest shock.

As far as combating fatigue, it far surpassed any PWO supplement I ever took. Being the first Intra Workout supplement ive dabbled in a have nothing to compare to. But what I do know is 1 minute rest times turned to 20 - 30 second rest times and 18 - 21 sets per group jumped up to around the 30 sets mark, and it did so without much of an increase in time spent in the gym.

For mass, its hard for me to judge. Obviously this isnt an instant mass gainer. But being as I box I try not to jump up in weight to much. I started the stack around 178, I got as high as 187, and right now am sitting comfortably at about 183. I plan on dropping the 8 lbs and going back down to 175 but maintaing the strength gains I was able to pull off through out this cycle. And it will be interesting to use this stack in combination with whatever I throw together for my cut. (I smell another log)

What else can I say about the stack, I mean it tastes great, and it works even better. Earlier in my log I made the comparison to the first time I used creatine. And for all you guys out there who remember your first dabble with creatine you know what a statement that is. Anyone who is skeptical about the effectiveness of intraworkout supplements and IntrAbolic/IntraXcell especially. Give it a shot, because it is a great product for a great price.

This stack is versatile, safe, effective, and affordable. You really couldnt ask for anything else. Anyone who has any questions feel free to ask, I'm back and will be around!

Thank you AEN! Your product is great, youre company is great. This was my first experience with you guys and will surely not be my last.

Overall 10/10, go out and try it sucka.

    Weight (Muscle) Gain - 7/10
I got sick during my log and and I also hurt my back. I dont think I ever fully recovered from either, but managed to drop about 5 lbs. I had sold strength gains at times with loads of energy at times

    Muscle recovery-10/10
Usually the time after or the day after, I never had a sense of muscle soreness. It was good for this.

    Before 240
    After 235

Overall a great stack. I would use again to see what it would do if I didnt get sick or hurt my back. Can't forget those tingles!!!! Unfortunately I will not be able to post an after picture since my camera is broken...sorry.

Again I would like to thank the Athletic Edge Nutrition team and Trans Isomer for picking me as a tester!!!

Muscle increase 8/10: Since i was cutting during my log i wanted to see if intraxcell would help aid in muscle gain. From my results i def. added so much need lbm, which i give intraxcell alot of credit considering the studies Seb has presented.

Results: 10/10 This with intrabolic/Pre surge is just a killer stack seems like i'm adding 2 to 5 lbs per lift every week. Before intraxcell i was stuck in a platue on all my major lifts. After a few weeks on this stack the platue was easily broken.
