Mutliple Supplements Daily - Is this bad?
I am currently taking:
I've been on Lipo6 for 1 1/2 week and the rest I started 10/19-Sunday...
Lipo6 - 6 capsules daily
Higher Power Micronized Creatine - 1 gram 5/6x daily (loading phase 5-7 day)
Optimum Nutrition ZMA - 3 capsules daily
Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein - 3-4 servings daily
Optimum Nutrition Casein Protein - 2 servings before bed
BSN NO-Xplode - Pre-workout daily- I've been on this since 06/2008.
Is this bad? Should I not be taking all these supplements at once? I'm sure the proteins are ok, but not so sure on the other stuff. I feel nauseated and have been having extreme mood swings since I started Sunday. The mood swings is probably from taking the ZMA.
If you have good/bad experience in taking multiple supplements, please fill me in.
Thank you,
Tony M.

Multiple supplements in general are not bad, and I'm sure 90% of the active posters here take several supplements a day.
But what is your goal?
You have a fat-burner/thermogenic in the (Lipo-6)
Creatine, for bigger, fuller muscles, adds water weight (and just weight in general)
and an NO product, for pre-workout energy, which also contains creatine (great product, BTW)...
so if you're using the Lipo-6 just for general fat burning and some energy, and the NO-Xplode for pre-workout energy, pumps, focus, etc...I'd scrap the Higher Power Creatine...
The protein is fine...
I don't think the ZMA is giving you mood swings...
the nauseau and mood swings could bothbe from the Lipo-6, as some stimulants can do that. Do you have experience with any other stims/fat-burners?
(the nausea could be from the protein, if you're not used to it)
I'd still like to know overall what your goal is...
But to answer your question, no, all these supps together isn't a bad thing

I finally had the time to research and read up on ZMA's side effects. One of which is "Mood Swing". That might be the case for me and today was by far one of the worst.
Overall goal is to burn fat, gain strength & build muscle. A far fetch, but I thought I would give it a shot. I take NO-Xplode, because I work long hours, so when I hit the weights I am mentally focus and energized.
Thanks for the feedback. I decided to stop taking the ZMA and see how I feel.

Yo, I take multiple supplements everyday. It depends on what you take, and when you take it.
Like the ZMA, if you are trying to build muscle, it is always recommended you take it an hour before bedtime. I would take it around 10pm, or 11pm. This is if you are trying to build muscle. You shouldn't get moody if you take it before bed.
Another thing: Bulking up, and burning fat should be done separately. Both processes need to be approached differently, diet and training. When you are cutting, your main supplement will be the lipo 6. Creatine helps burn fat, but it's mainly used for building muscle. Everything else you are taking is great for muscle building, I would cut out the lipo 6 for now. Save it for when you go into a cutting period. It'll save you money, and you will probably get better results.
I hope this helps, good luck and keep up with what you are doing.
