    loud popping and extreme pain in elbow

    i was bench pressing well within my pb when i was lowering it down my elbow cracked and hurt really badly it was like shooting pains up my arm. i proceeded to drop it on my chest any suggestions on how to fix elbow? i was thinking just resting for couple of weeks
