    Coffee Creamer

Coffee is my weakness. I love the stuff, and it helps me get through my day to day life. Usually I drink it black, no additives. There are times I'll drink it black with Stevia Sweetener to. Once in awhile though, I just gotta have that little bit of creamer. Granted I don't dump a bunch in. That said, I was wondering if anyone knows good alternatives to creamer. I hear there are a lot of health issues with creamer? Do I care enough? Maybe/maybe not. But thought I'd see what you all do. I've heard some people mix up some protein powder (flavored) and use that.

This isn't an "omg, creamer is bad halp" thread. More of a curiousity gets the better of you thread. Not gonna freak out over my few cups of coffee with creamer per week. lol. Thanks all!

A little bit of coffee creamer is perfectly fine... what are you so afraid of?

Personally I prefer some heavy cream as opposed to the store bought junk that tastes like chit.

Whatever source you heard saying "creamer is bad for you" ... never consult that source again lol. Creamer is fine. Enjoy life and don't sweat nonsensical things like creamer in your coffee.

    I too know this feel

I just add it in MFP and tank the 150-200 calories I'll use to make my coffee taste wonderful.

Half and half? Whole milk? I use either or both and just log the amount. Coffee is my spirit animal though OP, and the thought of that piss artificial flavor creamer ruining my spirit animal makes me cringe. JMO, YMMV.

OT: But you should be more concerned with your reliance on caffeine than anything OP.

Milk? I guess you can put whatever you want in your coffee. If you're really worried about it you could throw in a couple tablespoons of protein powder or a splash of an RTD of choice.

If you're using powdered creamer, using protein as a replacement would be a better choice nutritionally speaking, with basically no difference in texture/physical characteristics. At the end of the day, a little coffee creamer isn't going to ruin your diet as long as it fits into your macros.
