He was recovering from mono in the first picture. Muscle memory got him that big. I once was in a situation where I was living in South America with no fridge. I lost 30lbs in 2 months, because we could not eat meat.
In less than a month, I put all the muscle I had lost back on. Muscle memory kicks ass.

My diet was mostly just lean chicken and oatmeal and cottage cheese and bagels... I've just been trying to get as much protein and carbs into me as I could. I really just wanted to gain back to where I was.. and now I'll try to maintain this while cutting back down to 6-7% BF.
My routine is just a 5 day split
Lots of cardio believe it or not, and then switching up:
Chest/Tris/Delts
Legs + abs
Back/Bi's /Traps
I started off in the 12-15 rep range with a decent weight just slowly working my way back... but now am lifting heavy again with 6-10 rep range. Not sure how else to describe it, but I've been doing the same method for the past few years and it seems to work well for me.
Exactly haha, if only I could "gain" like this all the time. And dang what brought you to South America?
