    Jump Rope = Sore Ankles = Normal?

    I did jump rope supersets with situps about 2 days ago per below workout (no rest until all done)...my ankles have been sore for 2 days...is this normal or should I stop jumping so much?

    nothing wrong with soreness. just make sure you're stretching it out before, DURING, and after the workout.

    hey its no problem if you have soreness, but i feel there should be some rest given at regular intervals so as to ensure the strength is intact and you could also do a little bit of stretching to ensure flexibilty.

    That is not that jumps. You'll adapt.

    Do you actually count jumps?

    I just go for time because counting gets annoying!!

    i never got any type of ankle pain fom jumping rope....i also never had any type of pre-existing ankle injury.
