Protein = Hard on the kidneys?
Can to much protein hurt my kidney?

Yes. But you would need to be eating a TON of it to have to anything to worry about.

If you eat a huge amount of protein that made up 90% of your diet and you didnt drink any water and you didnt lift any weights or did any cardio training then there is a chance that your kidneys will suffer problems, but if you have a fair amount of protein, lift weights or cardio and drink plenty of water then you have nothing to worrry about.

As always, the saying "too much of anything is not good for you" goes here. But you would need to be taking enormous amounts of protein in. Somewhere around 300-400 grams a day to have any problems. And even then with adequate exercise it shouldn't pose much of a risk. Maybe the odd kidney stone here and there :P.

Possibly if you were taking in 1g per lb bodyweight and being sedentery. Use it or lose it I guess.

I agree with Ironlife and Swirlsy should consume very large quantities to have problems, anyway, the corp equates human not more than 40 grams per meal should eat no-stop.
