3 Parts to the tricep: Bench press

Hey everyone, I believe there are three different muscles in the tricep. Do you know which part of it is most important for a solid bench press? And what exercises you can do to strengthen it so you can increase your bench.

Thanks and hoping for some good responses!!

PS I dont plan on doing triceps with my chest tomorrow, im just really curious cause my triceps suck and I need my bench to increase!

Do you know what exercises are good for the inner head of the tricep? I think skullcrushers? I suck that those too, so can someone give me a good step by step how to do it properly?

Lateral and medial. ("outer" and "inner").

Best type of training for "bench press" context would be lock-outs and close grip bench press.

to work the inner head you do close grip presses..

tricep rope press.. emphasize on the pushing at the end of the positive.

    skull crushers..

Can you explain what lockouts are? And what would be a perfect tricep routine? That hits say the inner outer and medial part of the tricep?

A lockout is the part of the bench motion where your triceps are utilized the most. Essentially, the second half of the ROM when coming back up.
