If Dana sticks to his word then the outcome of the GSP/Penn II fight is a win/win for the fans.

And you know he will. DAMN IT. Now, do I want to see BJ Penn hold both titles or do I want to see the biggest Superfight in Mixed Martial Arts?
SON BITCH.
There are two types of lifters. Those that Deadlift, and those that don't.

Is gsp going to middle weight to fight Silva? I don't really see Silva Dropping to 170 since he walks @ 210+ I believe.

The article said it would probably be at a catchweight if they did it at 175 that would be good for GSP since it would be a pretty hard cut for silva i think, but if they do it at a 180 catchweight it might as well be at MW.

Would like to point out that at a catch-weight, neither belt would be up for grabs.

Yah, might as well be at 185 for the belt lol I dont think gsp would take that though.

Probably because Silva walks around 50-65 pounds HEAVIER than Penn. Penn fights at 155, and I dont think has to cut that much to make 155. Silva cuts at least 20 pounds to make 185, It just wouldn't make since to fight the best striker in the world who weighs so much more and has such a huge reach advantage. For penn, its take him to the ground and hope to submit him or lose. For penn, Its too much of a gamble imo and the chances aren't very good.

I'll have to watch once I get home.
Interviews with Dana are kind of like a train wreck to me....You don't wanna watch, but can't help but to look....
I would love to see BJ and Silva, but I really wonder how BJ's wind would be at that weight.

Watch the triangle brah
I like Penn, but GSP has gotta win this one. Also, I don't get how Dana can claim "he won't let Penn" fight Silva. If Penn naturally puts on enough weight to fight at 185 there should be no reason why he couldn't.

to be fair bj held his own against machida, who walks around heavier than silva;
and even couture said in training bj was the most difficult fighter he's ever tried to take down.
bj has a chin like hendo and some of the best subs around; i wouldn't count him out against anyone....
