lately i've seen some really impressive leg pictures (o gawd no homo) that have very nice separation between muscles. is this possible with just squats and deadlifts as the only exercises for lower body?
obviously bf% is the largest factor, but i'm wondering exercise-wise

anybody can have legs muscle seperation, its cos they have low bodyfat.
you dont actually NEED squats, you need to lose fat by eating less than you burn. but squats should help you gain strength in your legs, you wont gain any muscle because you arent eating surplus.Powerlifter at PTC Performance Training Centre
