Ron Paul - Our numbers are growing.
Quote:
The sooner we get back to believing in ourselves, believing in freedom, believing in sound money, believing in the constitution - we're gonna solve these problems.
But right now there's a fight going on in this country. Our numbers are growing. We're not the majority but - Our numbers are growing and as this situation deteriorates more people are going to say "Hey maybe it's right, maybe limited government and freedom works. Maybe freedom is popular and maybe freedom really works." And this idea that we have to depend on government for all these programs- it's an illusion.

X10.
I don't think that a lot of Americans truly value or understand the real meaning of freedom, because they constantly keep giving it away, election after election. If you really wanted true freedom, you'd tell the government to get the phuck out of your life and let you be.

I'm voting 3rd party, just like he urged us to do. I'm fed up with the two-party system and the corporate control of our government. They are no longer for the people, but for the corporation.

It's encouraging that our numbers are growing. I think it's really simply a matter of letting Americans witness what current policy has done for the country, letting them see what Ron Paul brings to the table, and since his ideas are good ideas and his predictions are proving accurate, he will naturally grow. Americans may be apathetic now, but as times get tougher, apathy will naturally fad away and they'll start to realize that there's really not a big difference between these two clownish parties. It's an observed trend that people become deep and philosophical when life turns to ****.

What all the US Ron Paul supporters need to is pool all their money together and buy a major US News network, shameful that only the globalists get commercial media attention over there.
Am I right to assume the majority of poeple in the US don't know who Ron Paul is? (Let alone his stance of various issues)

Exactly, without media support I don't think the Campaign For Liberty will ever be effective.

I really do not see RP or Libertarian president anytime soon. I like the 3rd party concept, but does anyone think that this type of party would realistically be elected to do anything major in Washington?
How many libertarians even have seats in the Senate or the House?

The biggest influence 3rd parties have is when there is a close election. They don't have to win. It just makes the party that lost look to that party and see if it has a good number of their constituency as well...if it does, then it helps pull the losing party's platform more towards that view in future elections.

How someone like Ron Paul hasn't garnered more support from the American public would be mind-boggling if it wern't for the real reason he's nearly forgotten. Those who know, know what I'm talking about...

What has to happen before people start to swing towards third party? There's a lot of talk and maybe some action but we seem to gravitate back to our old ways regardless.

its rediculous every time someone argues about demo's vs repubs or mccain vs obama, do they actually think their party has them in mind? no one talks about real issues, and when someone does the corporate media shuts them off, which is where everyone gets their news from. I mean... I'm 16 and i realize that my life is pretty much going downhill from here with the impending depression and globalization, but 99% of the people my age care nothing about it and would rather talk about the latest soulja boy songs.
