cheat day and still loose?
I was just windering, only because Ive been able to have a full blown out cheat day, and still loose bodyfat. Fast food, acohol, ice cream, u name it. I brought this up only because some of you ladies on here think a little cookie is gonna kill ur process!!! I have to stay sane somehow, and usually go out with my friends to breakfast, ljunch, dinner, and the bar! How can you do it??

There are some studies out there that say a cheat day actually helps weight loss...kinda shocks your system into burning more calories. Something to do with not letting your body think you're starving it so that it won't hold on to fat, yada yada.
Thank God for cheat days!

You certainly can continue to lose body fat while having a cheat day or a cheat meal. The extra carbs and fat act as a refeed from the previous lower fat or lower carb days and restores levels of both. It also bumps the calories up which is similar to changing up your workout routine and keep the body guessing.
Some people can have cheat meals or cheat days without going overboard and go right back to their diet plan. Others cannot. Cheat meals lead to a whole cheat day or a cheat day leads to more cheating the next day. You just have to know yourself and whether or not you are ready for a cheat. If eating a couple of cookies leads to eating the whole bag, well then it's probably not a good idea to eat even one. Some people need the discipline in order to break the bad habits and get rid of the cravings. One size doesn't fit all when it comes to diets.

...and your point WAS????
cheat DAY?
I sometimes go on cheat WEEKS, and I still manage to maintain my weight & stay focused. I have been living this lifestyle for such a long time now that my body is pretty resilient to the more-than-occasional abuse I throw at it.
I seriously believe that without the occasional cheat, most will ultimately fail, especially in the long term. Without that treat, resentment can build up, and then bad eating habits take over again. The big difference is having that core discipline that will get you back on track again, and not completely give up after indulging..which is what many people do.

I completely agree with the above statement. A cheat week can be the best thing ever.

Good for you. You have the right mindset and balance which most don't have
