How much can I change in 2 months?

Started a low carb diet monday. Each day is being alternated between running and full body weight lifting. Im just curious how much I can expect.

6 ft 1
250 lbs
Not sure about body fat, but obviously its wayyy to high.

I wouldnt do the low carb thing, the weight will come off but it wont stay off. Youll gain it back as fast as you lost it. Have an Uncle that this happen to. Try a Low Fat diet with lots of protein

correction...the misconception about low carb diets and people regaining the weight is that they dont build any muscle to help keep the weight off. the bottom line is this, your making a life change not a band-aid fix. Your going to need to build some muscle to keep the weight off and the low-carb thing will work for you but you have to remember that along with that kind of diet you will need to work out also. So asking how much you can change in 2 months is really up to you.

For example I'm 26 in july I worked out 6 days a week with kettlebells and gave myself sundays off. I did cardio as well after my workouts and dieted cleanly with ketogenesis and lost 21lbs in a month. Going from 183lbs to 162lbs and dropping my bodyfat from about 18 back down to 10. Of course, I'm a personal trainer and I work in the industry for a living so that can definitely help but don't get discouraged at that and don't set lofty goals. Set smaller ones you can reach and once you reach them set another goal and so forth and so on.

If you want some help let me know and ill be glad to try and give you a weight-loss routine. Good luck and post about your progress in 2 mos.

If you are looking to decrease bodyfat, increase your activity level. That means more cardio (prefer to do it in the morning) and less calorie intake.

If you are trying to gain size, increase good food intake, moderate aerobic activity and lift heay weights 6-8 range.

It's pretty simple.
