Most NPC shows dont have a collegiate division. But some of the larger shows have a class called the Junior division which is basically the same thing (20-23 years of age typically) There is a collegiate nationals though but that takes place all the way up in Pittsburgh. So if you are just looking to compete against people in your age range, keep an eye out for a junior division at any given show. There are a ton of NPC shows in FLA every year so I have no doubt you will be able to find something. The 09 schedule isnt out yet though so just hang tight for now.

If you are looking for an all Collegiate contest its prolly not gonna happen bro... simply wouldn't pull enough competitors. After the teen classes, most competitors just move onto novice and Open classes. Your best bet is going to be a National qualifier in your area where there is expected to be a large turnout and a full range of divisions. You might find what you are looking for there. Other than that, you are going to have to go up against the big boys at collegiate nationals if you want all collegiate competition. But even then, that same show also has teen and masters nationals.

Getting very close to making a decision about this show. Barring a bulk that is more way successful than i originally planned, ill be up there in the heavies with ya. Which makes me wonder... anyone know if they go up to super heavy at the collegiates?

ya they do have supers. but there generally are only 0-2 competitors in it. so if you make SH u will most likely be top 2 or first if you are the only one.

interesting.... well, looks like i still have a ton of decisions to make before diet season begins. Especially with weigh-ins being the day before, i could easily sneak into SH and start my diuretic protocol afterward. Then again, HW will be way more competitive and fun. Pretty sure this would be my last year of eligibility so I guess common sense would tell me to give myself the best opportunity to possibly compete for the overall. Love making these decisions

I totally hear you about not being ready for the summer bro, you have a hell of a recovery to deal with...
HWT eh? Then so be it =). Proud to know that ill be up against a number of the best collegiate bodybuilders in the country. Thanks for the heads up bro! Now I know exactly what im dealin with and my off season really isnt a factor as far as numbers go. Ill just need to concentrate on my conditioning hardcore which is where my head should be at this point anyway.
I really might need to take you up on the music guy in a few months. Cant really afford to show up at a contest like this with one of my normal night show routines...

that makes alot of sense. I remember trey brewer saying somthing about being over the heavy weight limit but they let him in anyway.
I am not even going to weigh myself untill weigh ins for collegeites. conditioning is not a problem for me, I just need to get my posing down and hold my size. I lost so much size dropping 50lbs for my last show and lost 60lbs for the show before that. this yr I am staying lean all yr and it seems to be paying off big time.
fjock do u know anyone else that will be in the heavies? , its gonna be a battle bro, I cant wait.
