I was just reading some MEDICAL articles, and some sites say that taking in protein powders can damage your kidneys. Some say you have to have pre-existing kidney probelems for the powders to do anything. I also read that too much powder can somehow change the tint of your skin (this on prob bogus). What is your guys prespectives on this. Could I get Kidney problems if i took lets say 1 scoop of whey and 1 scoop of casein a day?

You could get kidney problems if you do nothing. But it's unlikely that a couple scoops of protein powder will do any damage to your kidneys.
Since you're interested, why not start learning about how the kidneys work?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renal_physiologyNo sir, I don't like it.

I don't remember, but my skin got a yellow tint a while back (I turned Asian), but that might have been cause I ate a lot of carrots. Like alot. My skin has returned back to normal now. It might have been the powder, but it might have been tez carrots. Ill try to find the article on the skin tint again.
Oh, and the reason for asking this question about kidneys is I was wondering because my doc said I had something high in my kidneys (can't remember wut) and it might be damaging.
