Misc Doctors I Need your Help! (Serious)
OK so I had a thyroid test the other day and it came back that my T3 and T4 are fine but my TSH levels are elevated, somewhere above a 4. In addition my antibodies (anti-microsomal?) were way up at like 110 and the normal is under 30. Can you guys please explain this to me and the effects it will have and what will happen if I go on thyroid treatment? Do I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis?
Cliffs:
TSH > 4.0
anti-mic antibodies = 110
T3, T4 normal
How fukced am I?

haha well my sleep schedule is out of wack but sometimes I get like 10-12 hrs of sleep. I would ask my doctor but UofI medical care sucks and they won't talk to you until you go in.

You have subclinical hypothyroidism. Do you feel tired sometimes? One of the symptoms is fatigue. You don't have anything to worry about yet. I don't think you have to be put on a thyroid medication unless you have symptoms. Just go to talk to your doctor.
