Throat Inury/Pain
Hey guys, never posted on this section before, but my mom has been through a great ordeal. She has rumatoid arthrities, celiac disease and so much more. Reason why im posting, is that in July of 2008 she had went to see her chiropractor and when he adjusted her neck, we think he may have pulled something. Shes been to the doctors ever since, but they keep brushing it of to the point they just shrug their shoulders now.
Here are her symptoms:
-feels strained
-rarely does she wake up with the symptom
-after talking throughout the day, feels like a pulled muscle and swells (she is a secretary)
-previous doctor said the sterno-cleido-mastoideus may have been strained through a chiropractor adjustment (hasn?t seen the chiropractor since July 08)
-muscle relaxants work but not practical to take them all the time, and body has adjusted to it.
-it is not stress, as this month alone, my grandmother has passed away, and many other problems.
-the pain does not come from stress, only physical activity (talking/lifting/pressure etc)

The lower part of the Sterno-Cleido towards the collar-bone, beside the subclavian triangle

Do her eyes / eyelids ever droop, does she have a hard time swallowing or speaking, does she get tired for no reason, does she feel good in the morning and feel overtired in the evenings and want to go to bed earlier than normal?
Is there actually pain in the muscle, or is it just a 'thick' feeling?
