Hi CJ, I'm quite new on here, doing SS and I've got very similar goals to when you started this log. Subbed to check out the Texas method. I'm either going Texas method or madcow 5x5 after this I think so it'd be good to learn a little something. :-)

Ate a lot today, so that explains the weight gain. I am not worried because I have 11 days left and was 179 the other morning. Knees were caving in on squat, the last set was the worst. Have not had a squat PR in a few months, so I am very happy with that. Too tired to complete the rest of the workout.

I'm really enjoying following your journal. Nice squatting! Fully understand being too tired for anything else.
I take it your posted weight is a pre-workout weight, not a morning weight? If that's the case, it sounds like you're in great shape to be a 181.
