-Bodybuilding is all about genetics, and who can bring the biggest, most vascular and detailed package to the stage
-Although they're not that open about it, most top level pros use performance enhancing drugs

So why bother with these tiny posing trunks any more? It's not like they leave much to the imagination anyway

Imagine all of the competitors on stage with glistening, erect dinks

How damn alpha would that be?

Of course they could use viagra, cialis etc. to stay hard, but the naturally gifted guys could claim natty that they were hard on stage the whole time, drug free
