Cool quick cert questions/ how to get experience

I want to work towards a high level certification, however, I was thinking about getting one of the easier certifications that I can do online in order to have something while I am working towards a better certification. Is this even worth it? I am in school currently and dont have the time to dedicate to just studying for personal training, so I thought doing something quick online might suffice until I can complete the professional course over time.

My concern is this with both programs since you study at home:
-If you do everything online/ at home, how do you learn to work with people hands on.
-How do you get the experience/tools to put together plans.
-How do you learn to keep them motivated and on their toes?

If you're planning to get into the personal training field, I suggest you aim for a high certification. Buy some books on anatomy, posture, training and nutrition and read that on your spare time until you have time for the high level certifications.

- You may learn a great deal from online courses, but the hardest skill is applying what you know.
- Some certification books help you develop training programs and diets, but other then that the Internet is the best tool.
- Motivation is one of the hardest part of training. In my opinion, it's all about the mental game. I've read numerous books on motivating, but the one line I always tell myself is "Fear is the number one motivator".

Hope that helps!
