I put 2 tablespoons into a glass of water and just took it that way because the water was like a chaser after the olive oil went down. What are the best ways to take in olive oil? Straight by just drinking it or using it for dressings?

Drinking it is way too macho for me. I pour it over cooked veg, or use it to make salad dressing (4T EVOO, 1T apple cider vinegar, 1/2 tsp wholegrain mustard, salt and pepper, shake well). I sometimes use it to cook things like eggs or prawns.
I also keep a bottle of olive oil with dried chilies in it. The chilies infuse and give the oil a great kick, so a sprinkle can really liven up a boring meal.65% fat, 30% protein, 5% carbs = keto.

I have to have a tablespoon on my salad every day...I'm allowed vinegar as well, but I actually stopped using it. All I eat in the salad is romaine lettuce and olive oil. I even drink the leftover oil in the bottom of the container. I think I could drink it straight from the bottle at this point. I love the flavor!!!! (am I weird? lol)

I used to just put some in a whey shake at one point during the day. Went down pretty easy.

There is no "best" way, do what works for you. Although drinking it might **** your stomach up or something. I tried that once a long time ago and got gag reflex and it came right back out. I've also noticed that olive oil even if theyre all extra virgin.. the taste can vary greatly between brands.
I use about 1tbsp mixed with apple cider vinegar as a salad dressing. If I'm going to "drink oil", I stick with the ones that are easier to get down like coconut oil.
I can't mix oil with protein shakes or anything.. the the fat just floats to the top and it's the last to be swallowed and is usually gross.

The main reason I considered olive oil myself was that it was very cheap, I would have about 30grams in a little cough medicine measuring cup. At one stage I was having 100grams, followed by a few drinks of water.
I now have almonds (150g) and walnuts (50g) and they are quite enjoyable (and nutritious), I think its ironic that your user name is Bad Meets Evil because that is exactly how I would describe a glass of olive oil.
