So guys, just curious on some input here. I have 18" bicpes (6'3 225) and I would concider myself a semi-pro in my workout techniques. HOWEVER when I lift really hard on bicep days, usually a day or two after I'm pretty sore in the tendon area (inner arm elbow bend). Anyone else with big bi's get this? Bottom line is the work out is great, good pump and heavy weights (6-12 reps), but don't feel much soreness in the muscle just the tendons (attaching muscle).
Thoughts?

You can strengthen your tendons and such through high rep work. Your tendons adapt much more slowly than your muscles, so if you have been consistently training heavy and making increases, then your biceps have left your tendons in the dust right now. Try super high reps (25+) for a couple weeks perhaps. Obviously you won't be making strength gains, but that's kind of the point.

GSXR150? Assume you ride a gxer then? Props man, my dream bike.
I used to have the same problem. I removed one arm exercise per workout, and, if my arms were still sore, i added the exercise back in. Eventually i removed Ez-bar preacher curls, and suprise suprise, the pain went away. started doing them again, my forearms and elbows were sore... Anyway, long story short, I dont do EZ bar preacher's anymore, and I dont get the pains...
Maybe try trial and error til you find out what is causing the pain?

It's called overtraining take biceps or any movement that has to do with ur forearm's and wrists i know what you mean as soon as you let go of the weight it starts to hurt like a bitch right?
Your ovetraining take your next 2 bicep workout's off and try not to do that much weight for a while then your arms go back to normal happened to me a few weeks ago just stopped training them and then they stopped hurting now i train normally.

I thought that was the point of speed work in Westside style training? Tendon strengthening. Thats why they go super fast and light for high reps. Or so I thought. And tendons are much different than nervous system lol. I think going 1-3 reps is more likely to break a tendon not strengthen it...

Thanks one last note on the bikes. If you really want a gsxr600, check out the new-ish Daytona Triumph 675. You should hear this thing on the street...it's criminal!
You'll get the idea...
