I just got mine in the mail 2 days ago and its awesome! Not very sweet but the flavor is a home run for sure. My full review soon to come.

Scivation's vanilla tastes sooooo much better than Dymatize vanilla! I was going to wait until the 13th to get some on wheycheap, but I broke down and sent out an order last week. I cannot speak for the choocolate, but Scivation has nailed the vanilla taste right on!

Scivation whey is a bit overrated in the taste department. But i do say that i love mixing it with peanut butter and blueberries to make "sludge'.Then it tastes really really good.

Is it really necessary to state a supplement as "****" ? If you had a problem you could have just e-mailed Marc/Derek...IMO no need to state something as the term "****" ....

The only problem with defending Scivation Whey like that is that all proteins can be made into sludge in the same way, and taste the same if not better.

I haven't tried the vanilla, but the chocolate is pretty good, I think.

I like it better than ON's choclate whey, that's for sure

I will say even though I think Scivation's chocolate whey is pretty good, it smells a million times better than it tastes! All that being said, it's definitely not a bad tasting protein powder in my book, and I've tasted nasty powders.

I'm starting to think Scivation is just hype.

I tried the lemonade XTEND a couple days ago and it tasted how I would imagine cold piss mixed wuth lemon dishwashing liquid would taste like. Orange wasn't much better.

The grape and apple were decent though, but I thought it would be better from the reviews on this board. I have yet to try the watermelon.

Then you have the incidents where people have brought scivations whey and the whey actually leaked out of the cheap ass ziplock bag it's in. There products are sold for cheap, the packaging is cheap.. now I'm supposed to believe the actual supplements are high quality? Fool me once...

Don't get me wrong though they have great customer service, probably the best in the business and what not but It's just little things like this that turn me off.

I think the chocolate Scivation Whey tastes great! The vanilla is ok, not as good as the chocolate. I like the fact that the protein is not as sweet as some others. If you like it sweet, just add some splenda.

I can assure you that Scivation products are of the highest quality

Follow some of the logs, and see the results people have gotten off some of their products especially xtend. Those results aint no joke.

It's a matter of opinion. Scivation chocolate whey taste more like dark rich chocolate, it is not sweet at all. The thickness of the shake is AMAZING, taste is good, mixing is good BUT the package is annoying. Anyway for the price I am not complaining at all. ON whey is not on par taste wise IMO, and when whey protein is concerned, taste is the most important factor with digestion.

I didn't like it at first. But then I started to like it.
Buying supplements for taste is dumb I realize. It's nice occasionally but not necessary. It's more about p.p.s and effectiveness for me now.

very true. I'm sure the quality of the protein is fine, but honestly the first sip I took of it put a REALLY bad taste in my mouth. It tasted kind of metallic and left a bad aftertaste in my mouth. I would blame my city water system but I've been using Dymatize Elite Chocolate Mint and Cafe Mocha for the past 6 months with the same water

I find that this actually isn't the case. Scivation's whey has a much better texture for making sludge than ON does. IMO.

and Scivation chocolate/vanilla are both awesome, weird how it tastes like "****" to the OP.

i just opened up my scivation whey this morning -- going to test it in a few... which is prime cos the sale coming up.

I was reading the side of the box, and it had the little blurb about an upcoming MRP type powder...wheres the info on this team scivation/what timeline it on?
