    ice ? Icing your scrotum once or twice a day for 20 minutes or so may help build testosterone. This may be most beneficial for reducing inflammation for vasectomy reversal patients. It probably will not hurt anyone.

    I can explain this...
    so your testicles hang outside of your body in a sack (scrotum). Why? Because that is the optimum temperature to run everything. Probably 10 degrees cooler than your body. So lets say you always have your legs folded (would make your balls very hot), then you will **** up the production of everything made there, including testosterone.

    I know the temp difference is most important for sperm production but I think it is also important for testosterone.
    So it is SOMEWHAT true, but ice is TOO extreme. maybe some water at room temperature.

    -you think getting stepped on by a cleat hurts? ill introduce you to ice skates my friend
    -you think a football jamming your finger hurts? stand in front of a 90mph slap shot
    -a professional hockey player can skate well over 25MPH and mid-ice collisions are not uncommon

    dont even get me started on this sh*t... too late, time to go ice my balls again
    Honestly In my mind

    Hockey=Football+Soccer+Ice+Skates+Big sticks+puck

    No comparison dude. getting hit by a 80+mph puck or getting slammed and landing on solid ice is alot worse than getting tackled with no pads

    I know the temp difference is most important for sperm production but I think it is also important for testosterone.
    So it is SOMEWHAT true, but ice is TOO extreme. maybe some water at room temperature.
    WTF, I just explained it and no responses . That took a while to write. That is the science behind it.

    im not sure thats accurate. the boards play a huge factor in why hockey is such a tough sport. I cant even count how many dislocated shoulders ive seen from people goin into the glass hard.

    One time i hit a kid along his bench and we both ended up going through the bench door because someone never closed it all the way. me and the kid were both hurtin pretty bad and when i tried to get off the bench a kid was holdin my stick.. so naturally i drop the gloves and started a big fight that took the refs about 15 minutes to sort out. i ended up with a 5 minute penalty and i was back on the ice the next period because fighting is legal in junior hockey. now imagine going out to play head to head against kids you were just in a fist fight with. needless to say, it's not rare to see the same two kids go at it twice in one game

    we're talking about team sports dipsh!t. anyone can argue that boxing/MMA/UFC is the toughest sport because it's just two guys beating the piss out of each other. and just for kicks n' giggles, id like to see any MMA fighter take a 90mph puck to the side of the ankle and see how he holds up

    EDIT- dude ur canadian, u should be defending hockey with me
