I was told to eat a ton of breads, carbs, calories, as little sat fat as possible, and to just continue normal work outs with little to no cardio, is that right or am I missing something, last two days I have been eating a ton of bread related products and apples and protien powder

I was told over the next two weeks to jsut eat what ever I can with in reason, like nothing deep fried of course, I was told to just eat tons of bread related products, all the crackers I wanted, Pastas, Peanuts are good, Apples, Bananas If i wanted, Tons of that stuff, is that the right route? I have never considred bulking if you go to my body space you will see I'm just not skinny and seeing six pack, now I was told yeserday to gain a bunch of weight and in 2 years mabye become a lifter/showmen on a local curcuit and keep going. I hate the idea of getting fat again but they said it would work.
