Almond butter (or any other REAL nut) is immensily better for you than peanuts in any form.]
I usually get roasted almonds butter (only ingredient) as well as cashew butter as a nice change of pace. Peanuts are dead to me.

Recovery is key. Massages, epsom salts baths, foam rolling, sleep masks, contrast showers, it all adds up. Get a foam roller, The Stick, a tennis/baseball, use them and stay healthy, pain and injury free.
