Post contest eating help!
K guys i just competed this past sunday, my weight was 70kg (first thing in the morning before food stage day). Its only wednesday and im like 76kg-78kg, im going back to weights on friday and just started cardio this morning. I no that its common to binge i just have not been able to stop myself ive been so hungry and ive just been eating junk. Would i be best to return to my post contest diet from the final week or is some of this weight gain water and will i loose it when i return to the gym?
My chest and arms are just as lean but full and pumped but my abs look soft and watery now, it sucks!
Advice please!
Thanks

Get back on your contest prep diet until you get your weight under control. You are gaining water but if you keep bingeing you will gain a lot of fat very, very fast. Get it under control now.

At least go back to the structure of the pre contest diet, even if you add some calories. You should get a nice metabolic boost so some extra food is ok. I would just stop the binging at least for most of the week, perhaps one cheat mea;/day. Good luck.

Thanks guys well for the last 2 weeks of prep i was only having 5 meals so what i have done is added another protein meal as meal 6 al i just uped my carbs by 15g so now my macros are
P ?220*4= 880
C ? 70*4=210
F ? 10*9 = 90
as apposed to
P ?180*4= 880
C ? 55*4=210
F ? 5*9 = 90
Does this seem ok? and if i do this hould i be able to loose the water/fat i gained this week?
Thanks

I guarantee you that you simply go back to your original diet, and maybe add 300 calories to that the bloat will subside, and the extra calories can help you mentally. Since you will be getting a little extra food. Slowly get back into your bulk, most people I would recommend 10-12 weeks of slowly ramping up the cals. That is if you are willing to be patient enough. Most are not of course.
Do it the smart way bro.

I wouldn't have gone back on the fat burners...you need to give your system a break from that.

just keep sodium low, h20 high, and food average and you will level out over time. It can take up to 6 weeks. Do not go back on the diet, that is one of the main reasons you're rebounding in the first place.
