I have never been in a fight, and a dude wants to fight me who is pretty good from what i hear. You guys have any lifting plans to maximize strength or any special training i can do to be ready whenever and whereever? Reps for help

... well, strength has very little to do with a fight IMO, its more like technique and not trying to be the big kid that just swings hay makers.

why does he want to fight u? after being in a few fights i can tell you that fights solve nothin to be honest, win or lose.....lifting weights does jack to how well you can fight
b the bigger man and walk away or just go crazy if u end up fighting

go to the first muay thai/ jiu jitsu dojo u see... take a week free classes they offert, and trust me in 1 week ur going to gain somewhat decent knowledge... just train every day 3-4 hours a day on the punching bag... and if u got 2 weeks b4 the fight.. do it i prefer muay thai, thats what i do and trust me.. dont nobody wana f'ck with me ill be kicking knees outa their place quick

Forgot, you could watch the Bas Rutten Self Defense vids on Youtube. They have good techniques for common situations, and its a pretty good laugh too.
