Have you ever suffered from depression?
Have you ever struggled with depression? whether it ended up in you taking anti-deppressants or not. Just doing a little wondering.

I have recently...had it about a year ago, got on anti-depressants, and got over it...now its comin back tho...

Hardcore for the past 5 years. Also pretty bad anxiety . As of late my moods have been cycling hard. Bipolar like. Hard as **** to deal with. Its like i have 2 different people inside me (no homo, no schizo). I went on meds in the past but made my depp/anx worse. So im trying to deal w/ it as best as I can.

Yes...to the point where I needed the medications to function and not go totally nuts. They worked to a certain degree, could have worked better but it was lesser of two evils really.
But I've taken a different approach to things over the last month or so with the help of a friend and I've been off the meds for 3 weeks now and feeling better than I have in a very long time.

I get depressed every now and then and just deal with it. Yeah, it sucks but I don't get suicidal or anything.

yeah been depressed a lot lately , Ive noticed that it goes with the weather sometimes (I work outside). The list of things that make me depressed could go on for pages, nothing seems to be good in my life, but I just think about how many ppl would love to be in my shoes and try toughing up. Dont feel like taking any meds for it though.

I go through bouts with depression, but I don't let depression rule my life or win.
I seriously think you can cope with depression by altering your mood which means altering simple things such as your setting and whatnot.
I have chronic hives and am suppose to take an anti-depressant, Doxipen to "calm my nerves" and keep me from itching. I've noticed it really makes me an outcast not to mention renders me unconcious.

I suffer from anxiety, and I'm taking Paroxetine for it. However, I don't feel depressed all that much.

That sounds like me bro. For like the past year or 2 I've been having crazy mood swings. I'll be in a good mood and then the next thing I know I'm pissed off and it usually won't wear off for at least a few hours. I'm wondering if I have depression or if I fuked myself up by being a pothead. Maybe I messed up my seratonin levels. I haven't smoked a joint since January, and I thought my mood swings were coming from weed, but they haven't gone away.
I'm stubborn about getting help too. I don't want to go on meds because I want to break through this by myself and I don't like talking to people about it. Especially someone I don't know.
