I noticed watching videos of pro's like Ronnie their meals constant of way more than a 100 grams of protein......I find it hard to believe that its just genetics that allow them to actually use all of that? Do the roids/hgh whatever actually allow you to use/digest more protein than if you were natural?

I never was a believer that your body could only absorb X amount of protein/carbs/fat at a time. If that were the case, you could techinically binge eat every day and not see much of a consequence. Besides, if you've ever thrown up you know that the stomach doesnt even clear food you ate from hours ago so I'm sure it's still digesting and absorbing.

if you want to stay the same size forever and never grow.....never be rapidly putting on muscle mass
go ahead and limit yourself to an amount of protein you think is the upper limits to which can be absorbed in on meal. then 20 years from now when you are hovering around 200 or less, dont be asking yourself why you never got to 230-250 plus.
if you are under 200 pounds, and your strength is not flying up at a stupid rate, and you are not going into every workout with new muscle mass, dont be talking about the upper limits of how much protein people in general can absorb in one meal.have adden 21 pounds of thickness since pic taken in avatar

your body can only utilize 50-60 grams of protein in a single meal. It does not hurt to eat more than that as it will either stored as fat, excreted or used as a fuel source. Its far more efficient to spread your meals out and keep the amount of amino acids in ur bloodstream high and constant.
for a 200 pound person its must better to get 7-8 meals of 43-38 grams of protein than it would to get 3 meals of 100g of protein.
and the biggest misconception with people on this bored is that protein should be the majority of their caloric intake when that is not the case. Athough getting carbs is much easier then getting in the protein it should be about 45% of your calories (when bulking).
now a pros needs will be different as AAS does increase the rate of protein synthesis their bodys will be more readily available to absorb protein

No, you totally missed his point. By definition, you would need excess calories cus otherwise you're body wont' grow. If you're calorie deficient, all that means is you are burning more calories than you are taking in. But guess what? Protein has calories, duh. So if you eat lots of protein but STILL are burning more calories than you're taking in, then you can't grow. BUt not everyone's metabolism is the same, so different people have different maintenance levels of calories. Some folks can do it on 1500 or less, some need 2000 or 2500 or whatever and others need 3k or more, etc. Everyone has a different maintenance level. He didn't say you need "crazy calories"....he just said if you're calorie deficient, then you can't grow....which is true. Cus by definition, if you're growing, then you're not calorie deficient.

Calories dont' build muscle, protein and training does. By your thought process, we could sit on our ass, have a calorie exceess and grow muscle.
We don't need excess calories to grow, we need excess protein to grow. A daily calories excess leads to fat gain when it is not used period, it doesn't go to muscle at all. BBr's have a high strung metabolism based on their drug use and hence why they need to keep the calories high.
Normal people don't need a calorie excess to grow quality muscle. That thought process leads to fat gain and fat gain only.Like Brutis...you can do dis.
