Is it important to have carbs post-workout?
What do you have for carbs post-workout?

What is maltodextrin
Any ideas what i could add in my post workout shake for carbs?

I found this:
Sherbet shakes
Fruit sherbet softened(let sit out for like 5 minutes or so)
mix slowly with milk as needed
Blender or food mixer
Sometimes I also drink a sugary energy drink(if it aint broke dont fix it)

maltodextrin is a complex carb derived from corn.
i throw 1 scoop, 50 g, in with 50 g whey and like 2 cups of milk
fruit is ok i guess, but for post workout i think they recommend simple carbs like white bread or a potato.
who knows, i just eat

yeah whole wheat is good for you but not for pw. You are supose to get HiG carbs such as dextose ie some nerds are for postworkout, something to do w/ aiding an insulin spike so it goes st8 to your muscles faster. I haven't tried it but I plan on making a pws with nerds/whey/and skim milk tomorrow.

The only ones I know are gatorade,nerds candy.
