Black **** in my Xtend

Why the fukc are there chunks of black flakes in my Xtend? This is my second tub... and it's ridiculous.

I hope that the rest of the Xtend at our store isn't like this.

First was Watermelon and the current one is Lemonade. I know what the white flakes are, it's leucine. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about big, BLACK flakes of **** that doesn't look like it should be in there. It does not dissolve.

I've purhcased at least 30 tubs of Xtend (out of my own pocket) and now the last batch we've got all has this black **** in it. We have loads of Xtend at my buddy's store right now and I really hope no other tubs have this. I recommend Xtend up the ying yang so this just makes me look like a dumbass. SciVation normally has very high quality products so we'll just look like jackasses if everyone opens up their tubs to find a ****ty quality product.

I'm at work and my outside email is prohibited, and I don't want to email outside of our corporation with my work email. But if no one from SciVation answers this thread I'll be sure to get in touch with them later.

Has anyone else run into this though? This is really discouraging. If BCAAs weren't so light and powdery I'd run the tub through a sifter and try to get rid of the black ****..

I noticed a few hear and there in my Xtend. I didn't think anything about it though. Hope it wasn't rat turds.

I saw it in my watermelon but not in my green apple, it freaked me out at first but im still alive.

If I remember correctly they dissovled the longer you left the xtend in water

Again, that's leucine. You're talking about the white stuff, right? I'm fine with leucine. I realize that it's a little hydrophobic or just doesn't dissolve very quickly. I usually mix it, toss it in a fridge for 20 minutes and drink it after it's dissolved.

I'm talking about black flakes that do not dissolve. I don't believe that they should be in there. Because this is my second tub, I'm wondering whether there was a batch of tainted Xtend or if they're just manufacturing it differently (resulting on some black flakes here and there).

If this did hapen, the color could just be attached to a leucine or something, but it is not tainted. Every batch is tested before going out.

Again, this is something that could happen with the other components, but I would like to have the chance to explain or fix it.

Never had this problem and I use a ton of xtend.

All I know is if it was sealed then its fine. Scivation personally test every batch of the products before they are ok'ed and shipped out to their retailers.

All I ask is for a chance to explain and/or fix it. We always make good on things.

But I do taste and visually inspect every batch personally along with lab tests.

i have ordered literally thousands of dollars worth of scivation and primaforce products and have NEVER had any issues whatsoever...i will guarantee you that marc is committed to quality and if you have an issue if you contact him he will take care of it...

Okay, here is the deal. Xtend might not always be pure cocain white. The color we use for watermelon is a strong red and for grape is blue and red. When this attached from moisture from the citrulline malate to a non-dissolving molecule, a darker particle may happen.

Thus, is is fine to consume and I apologize for the alarm.

Well, I am a little miffed as it's been two consecutive tubs. But I also want to know if anyone's encountered this because it's important to see if an entire batch was messed up, or if it was a coincidence. Someone at the store mentioned some flakes in theres and I told them it was just leucine. They had mentioned black flakes too but he said something might have just fallen in when he opened it so I don't think he cares. It may have very well been leucine though. I don't speak to him much as he lives on the outskirts of town here.

Well, I have two tubs sitting here that I can confirm as having some black flakes. I don't mean to piss off anyone at SciVation. I've purchased at LEAST 30 or more tubs. My two brothers have purchased at least a dozen or two tubs as well, so we've been loyal customers. But for all these tubs to have black flakes, it is a good cause for alarm. Maybe it was just a bad batch, maybe there are new ingredients or raw materials that simply turned a little dark during shipping or whatever... I'm sure it's nothing huge, but I'd like to know considering how I am a consumer.

I don't think anyone here DOESN'T LIKE SciVation, so I didn't worry about tarnishing their reputation. I push this stuff like crazy so I want to be confident that nothing's wrong. That's not asking much. I'll send an email when I get home. I have the second sku/batch number at my younger bro's but I have the one Lemonade tub sitting here.

So it's just a bit of citrulline malate that changed colour? I thought it could be something like that but it doesn't dissolve well... as long as you say it's safe, that's good enough for me. And while I am an Xtend junkie, I won't beg for free product.

I appreciate your patience putting up with me. I probably shouldn't have used the thumbs down emoticon/icon, but I was pissed. This stuff isn't cheap. We get GOUGED up here in Canada and our store cost for buying 8 hundred million tubs of Xtend is the same price that retailers sell their Xtend for. As long as I know that this is just a bit of citrulline malate that's simply discoloured, then I'm good to go.

I assure you that we have never and will never have a bad batch. What you see is completely normal based on the information that I have.

In the future, if miffed, getting unmiffed is as close as an email to me. We will always do whatever it takes to keep a customer happy.

WOW STRONG customer service...this is why I continue to purchase SciVation products as well (not asking for freebies - honest)

There are a few companies on BB.com as well as a few other sites that continue to impress me and I continue to be a repeat customer.

Then there are a few companies that act childish and just do not take care of their PAYING customers, customer service to me = me being a repeat customer or telling my friends to NEVER purchase their products.
