Big Ron for sure, I have seen video of him deadlifting 800 pounds twice ("5 and a half weeks out from the Mr. Olympia" -Ronnie Coleman) squatting 800 pounds after which he said "that felt light" I have seen him bent over row over 400 lb. Didn't he also rep 150 lb dumbells something like 20 times?
I have also seen videos of johnnie jackson pulling a ham string attempting an 800 lb deadlift and doing a single with like 600
Dorian Yates was very strong as well, but I haven't watched all of Blood and Guts myself, but I read an interview with Dorian Yates when he was at FIBO in 2007 or something and he himself said he didn't think he could duplicate some of the feats of strength that Ronnie performed.
Franco Columbo was a record holding powerlifter before he became a Mr. Olympia and in Arnolds book Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding there is a picture of him locking out something like 800lbs on a deadlift, but I think Ronnies Squat and Bench would ultimately surpass Columbos if Coleman became strictly a powerlifter for strength competitions.Tie your shoes = ready for anything

Franco is my fav. Dude was an all around athlete and a powerhouse. IMO that is much better than being a walking pharmacy like Big Ron.
"Clit stimulation if your fingers are dry is not a good idea. The clit is more sensitive than the underside of a guy's penis, apparently.
Good rule of thumb: make sure you're fingers aren't dry before they go anywhere NEAR her clit/pussy.
Also, besides myself, maybe 2-3 of you have actually done anything like this before..."

Not as if Franco was clean. I respect the guy, for his accomplishments as a PL'er (pulled 751 at 181) as well as winning the O, but he had gyno when he took home the trophy.
Yes, I know his cycles were girlie-man in comparison to the idiocy of today, but Coleman is/was a powerhouse as well. I remember when he competed in PLing. Strong dude.

It was 820 he pulled a hammie on, not 900, rewatch the video!
You never know, Ronnie Coleman deadlifted 805x2 in his video for a double with no real powerlifting training, just seeing what he could do for the video. If he would have quit bodybuilding at that time then my god he could have accomplished great numbers IMO. Being the first bodybuilder to deadlift 900 for sureTeam Norton

Well you sure put the proof out there and debunked me on that one, that's for sure!
Bodybuilders, esp at the elite levels, tend to use more gear than powerlifters at the elite level. That's because you don't need as much gear to get strong as hell as you do to get 300-350 pounds in the offseason. It's why guys can use gear and still stay in the smaller weight classes. The elite 300 pound bb'ers you see use MORE anabolics, for the most part, than powerlifters at the top. So your insinuation that if Ronnie used all the drugs for powerlifting then somehow he would hit 1000 pounds for everything, is quite stupid.
There are 200-220-230 pounders out there that have deadlifted more than Ronnie, and did it without straps. There are guys who bench more than Ronnie, and weigh less, there are plenty of guys who squat more RAW and weigh less. Ronnie isn't all that and a bucket o chicken when talking about elite strength. Yeah he's strong. But Johnnie Jackson is a bodybuilder who can out deadlift Ronnie as well. So the point is moot. Ronnie is strong, he is not elite level powerlifter strong (and I'm not talking about qualifying for elite either I'm talking about his lifts next to the best guys in the world).
You never know, Ronnie Coleman deadlifted 805x2 in his video for a double with no real powerlifting training

I didnt mean that. I meant he probably wasnt even prepping to do that. He done all of his sets, with no real warm ups. He was just throwing 100's on. That isnt a good warm up, jumping from 445 to 645, no way lol. So if he had a proper trainer, proper warm ups, about a month or two of good prepping, he probably could have hit 900 at that bodyfat 5.5 weeks out from the O in that video. That is, if he had done all of that.

Every other workout he done was for hypertrophy, even with the mass amounts of weights he used. Only thing he done low reps with was deadlifts. He even sais it in his video. Theirs also much more to powerlifting than lifting heavy. Its called being able to prep for competitions, knowin how to wrap, use equipment properly, raw or equipped. Depth, pause and pressing, speed and power, etc. You cant say you powerlift just cause you do 5 reps on everything.
Hell my routine involves 4-6 reps to failure on ever yset with Max-OT and I consider it bodybuilding right now.Team Norton

lol yea, that place should have older adutls teaching and the title of the section called, teens come here for learning, cause you dont know ****!
I agree, but I have never seen JOJ in a new recent video. He should def make one of him lifting. Hes probably waiting until he can show every1 up to get one together, that way he has done something amazing no bodybuilder will do for a while.Team Norton

Ronnie coleman is elite powerlifter strong and is MUCH stronger then most top level geared lifters as far as raw strength goes.
Stating anything else is stupidly uneducated.
He Squats 800+ Deadlifts 800+ and Benchs 500+ Which means he is EASILY good for a 2000+ Raw total.
It really bothers me when all these dickweavils try to discredit the man, he is strong as ****. I cant even really think of any geared elite powerlifters matching his raw strength tbh (all around/probably some strongmen/raw pls who could take him obviously)
Massive lol to even discussing the various supposed cycles of Bodybuilder X and powerlifter Y. No one knows a single thing about what anyone is taking so why speak of who is taking more and who is taking stupid amounts like it is fact.It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but rather the one most responsive to change.

Isn't he using a squat suit/knee wraps for the 800 squat? We have a 17 year old here who could do that. Still insanely strong, hope to be able to hit his squat/deadlift weight by the time I'm 25/30, bench will take less time. Always have been a huge fan of Ronnie, amazingly strong bodybuilder.

yes, but the 17 year old doesnt do a hypertrophy workout all the way up to a squat 800x2 then goes straight to leg press and does 2000+ pounds right after, lol. Noone has, thats why ronnie is great, not because of just 800x2 on squat, but all the work he does around it and still busts heavy numbers
