Why do all professionals eat so much rice?

i believe most pasta is made with bleached flour and doesn't have many nutrients. That's also why if bodybuilders eat bread, it should be 100% whole wheat bread, and also so it will have fiber and digest slower as well.

Ruhl is a huge rice-eater, Cutler also eats rice on his dvd. I ask myself why?
Why do they not eat pasta? It also contains carbs. Is rice cheaper than pasta?
Or could it be that rice has some secret,hidden anabolic features which they do not want to share with us?
Personally I can't stand rice. It doesn't taste good.

Sweet potatoes and Yams are awesome source of nutrition and complex carbs. Far superior to a plain white Russet potatoe.

Sorry to pick at your post, but how exactly does rinsing white rice, pasta or potatoes reduce the starchyness of these foods?

The implication is that you can reduce the GI of these foods simply by rinsing them in your sink.
